Ok, you're right, it was for WoTG as evidenced by the Ever popular thread on the subject, so that's 4 years.

For some reason I thought it was ToAU, where the 3rd job was Puppetmaster (which nobody saw coming).

I'll leave him alone when he gives us the appropriate hat eating picture/video. Otherwise, I'll harass him about it once every year, as I have been.

You know what I think?

I think Taskmage is never going to eat that hat. You know why? Because that way, we'll never forget about him. Everyone loves a grudge! If he never lives up to his end of the agreement, he'll always be a topic of conversation - perhaps not every single day of the week, but the topic always inevitably returns.

I think we need to just forget he exists. Ignore him. He'll be so desperate to prove that he's relevant he'll be eating so many hats he won't even know what to do! Then when he realizes we were toying with him all along, we'll have him right where we want him - in a position to completely forget about him because there's no longer any grudge.

I know what you're doing, Taskmage. I sees it. And I doesn't like it.

Maybe we'll both rekindle an old flame, but then I'll have to tell the other person, and I don't want her to hate me. Why does love have to be complicated?
