No seriously, TM! I went from 25-30 without ANY SEX. I was even in a relationship at the time! Things were complicated. :/

I mean, how do you find yourself with someone that you love, but you haven't had sex in so long that you feel weird trying to initiate it, and so then you just find solace in cake instead, because cake never doesn't want you. Let's just say that it was a dark time.

Hell, I don't envy myself that. If I could go back in time I'd tell that guy to hit the road and I'd have made a lot more of my late 20s. He was a great guy, but he caused me to really doubt my self worth and attractiveness. I mean, not to be cocky, but I'm a pretty good looking guy! Folks often want to have sex with me. I shouldn't have to be with someone who doesn't if I don't want to be. Right?

Damn you for mentioning cake. I could like, go get cake, but that means I have to drive to Wal-Mart, which isn't far, but it's not Winn Dixie which is right across the street (and thus, in walking distance). NOT FAIR.

And yeah, I was kind of like that for a few years, too, but it was called marriage. Though we only lived together for a year, most of which I was pregnant for, and then we were separated and I actually cared about the fact that I was still married, and then after four years, I said fuck it, and got a boyfriend. Strangely enough, that was what got my ex to finally realize the marriage was over and divorce me! Yay! (And it was a mutual thing too, nothing about me cheating. WINNAR.)

Then again, when I was with Douchebag, the sex wasn't all that great, but we had kids together so ... yeah. That was the entire basis of our marriage. And I'd honestly do it with him sometimes just to get him to STFU.

And I won't deny that my current state of severe withdrawal stems from the fact that my most recent ex and I were seriously so good together. Sexually. Never met a man that could make me feel the way he did. So yeah, when you get it and you get it right, you sure as fuck don't wanna let that shit go. I told him that, too.

Then again, we're still in this weird holding pattern while he straightens out his divorce, so I could get him back, though I try not to get my hopes up. Because, you know, this is me we're talking about and my luck is, well, pretty much awful. But it was never a "It's totally over and we're never doing it again" but more of a "I need to concentrate on this divorce and spending two-three nights a week at your place is not really helping with that."

Understandable. And I gave him the space. But every time I see him I just want to pull him into my apartment and rip his clothes off. Sooooooo I hope he's still interested. Lol.

Not me. Myself and I have a great relationship these days. Sometimes I think my fingers are the only thing keeping me sane. Or, well, on the brink of sanity, as I teeter so close to the edge already.

I'm finding as I move into my mid to late thirties that sex is kinda like "whatever". I mean...sometimes I'm in the mood, but things are a lot different from when I was 16-18 (read: I was a whore in high school). Once a week is perfect for me :3

I'm happiest with twice. I've lost the ever-present imperative for sex from high school and college, but I still need that intimacy as a psychological release valve. Arguably I should learn to meditate or something.

Basically though, exactly. I don't need sex with another person for reasons that are non-physical as much. I mean, when a relationship is new, sure. But as time goes by, I want to explore other areas of being with that person that involve clothes, and words, and you know, everyday stuff. I am ok with being single. But that doesn't mean that if the right person comes along that I'm going to be averse to sex.

I tried to open a bottle of wine tonight because its been one of those days. I got the corkscrew in and couldn't get the damn cork out! So I got my son and he couldn't get it out. Eventually the corkscrew broke and I was screwed. This wine better be god damn good once I get the bottle opened!

No really. I happen to think it's one of the cool things about being around this age - you start to appreciate who you are more and become more accepting of your good qualities and your not-so-good qualities. I mean I still have my normal human insecurities but I'm also a lot more comfortable in my own skin and I don't try too hard to fit in with what people seem to expect that I should be.

Like I know I'm not classically pretty but there are things about me that aren't my looks (well, aside from my tits, I have great tits) that are very attractive. And now that I know that, I don't try to force myself into trying to be super pretty as opposed to just being me. Because being myself makes me more beautiful than trying to make myself (read: my appearance) over does.

And no alcohol here. It falls under the category of things I can't afford to buy because it's not something I desperately need. Which is debatable at times but not tonight.

You and I would not get along. I'm not a social drinker at all. Think 1 beer bianually.

I felt all badass when I went to that New Jersey Young Professionals party and I ordered ginger ale! Somebody had to buy me a drink and I still don't know what it was called. But it must've been lite something because I was sober enough to rationalize "Nah, I won't drive home yet. I'll take a walk around Morristown for half an hour before I get in the car."

EDIT: Oh, and I'm Asian. So that's like 2 strikes against me. My face turned red after one drink.
