It's the thrill of the hunt. You're taken, which makes you a much better prize. If they can take you away, they win. In their minds they are prettier, more desirable then. Even if they know they can't win, just to monopolize your time and know they are causing your g/f to wonder is enough to help boost their self esteem. Men do it too so no its not exclusive to women. Pettiness and low self esteem are not gender specific. LOL

Raisin Bran.

Not the cereal itself but just how they pack it full of raisins so that I taste more raisins than bran every time I dig my spoon in. I end up having to pick away at it and throwing out a large number of raisins just to be able to enjoy my cereal.

Not the cereal itself but just how they pack it full of raisins so that I taste more raisins than bran every time I dig my spoon in. I end up having to pick away at it and throwing out a large number of raisins just to be able to enjoy my cereal.

OMG MAN! We'd be like Jack Sprat and his wife....you could throw the raisins at me and I'd give you the bran! LOL Now I'd like to eat some Raisin Bran but that would suck without milk. LOL (Can't drink milk.)

I don't like bran on its own (at least not for long.) It's gotta have some raisins in there too. But if I wanted raisins with milk I would buy raisins and put them in milk >_> Any more than 2 raisins in one spoonful is too much for me (and even then, consistently getting 2 raisins in every spoonful gets annoying.) Every time I pour myself a bowl it's like 4 goddamned raisins in every spoonful unless I throw some out D:

It's the cheese & butter that would do it. I've felt strongly for a long time that if the doctors ever tell me I can't eat cheese, butter, or red meat again I'm just going to ask to be euthanized.

Said like a true midwesterner! LOL Butter = a once in a blue moon treat and cheese = OK! (well in my book at least, my doctor says NO) When I bake I only use butter. When I see a recipe that says margarine, I just cringe! When I got married, we went over to the in-laws for Christmas. I brought a HUGE amount of cookies with me. They also had baked cookies but we compared and they used margarine. Oh they said it tastes the same and other bs but when it came down to it, at the end of the night my cookies were gone and theirs were still on the counter! LOL

That's a pretty stringent and thorough analysis of the ideal bran to raisin ratio. I can only assume you've parsed and aren't just eyeballing.

My roommate seems to have this vendetta against me, for no reason. Is it because I called out "the apartment food thief" (I know it was her) and asked it to stop? I didn't accuse anyone personally, I just said that whoever was doing it should please stop. Now I seem to have a personal enemy.

What kills me is she's the oldest one who lives here, yet she acts the most like we're still in fucking high school.
