Yeah, I figured that was an option, but I'm just kinda worried I'll fuck it up right now.

Also, I have to say its nice to have someone the owes you a lot of favors. I usually don't impose on people if I can help it, but my sister was more than happy to help. I'm all set to fight this off for the next couple of days.

Well, I've technically played P3 before, I'm doing the Female path on P3P now and I'm about halfway though it. I just need the relaxing and happy nature of Kirby's Epic Yarn to offset all the "BLAAARG" right now.

I enjoyed the female path for P3P. It gives you a fresh spin on the story and the female main character seems to mesh better with the group than the male. The male seems aloof and anti social in his dialogue options while the female main character has a better variety and seems more cheerful overall.

That and selecting all of the tsundere options when dealing with Junpei's flirting is always amusing.

Personally I'm currently playing Etrian Odyssey 3. I'm grateful they dialled down the difficulty somewhat (though being an Atlus game that doesn't really say much) and that money is easier to come by to gear up your party. I still find myself always cursing the lack of a 6th party slot though, I could really use a Princess and her buffs in my lineup.

Ninja can actually fill a 5th and 6th slot on its own, they copy can even be made to attack and explode on death.

My advice would be that if you have a farmer, make them subclass Princess since its the best subclass for someone that's strictly non-offense. If you have a monk that is pursuing a stronger healer path, Prince/Princess is an option for them as well.

Well the fastest way of getting money is a 5 farmer party to abuse gathering points on the first two floors.

I do have a Monk who I use primarily for healing (since the medic class isn't available right away) so I guess I could go Monk/Princess for her. The ninja copy is actually pretty useful for the inevitable "I open the door, FOE!" moments since it gives an you a chance to lose the copy instead of a party member trying to escape. Either that or spam the "Return to stairs" spell that Ninja get early on.

Oh and to stay on topic: The guy who put those Red FOEs in a room full of swamp tiles. He really knows how to torture players.

I am not on good terms with carbs at the moment. They are so delicious, but they make me feel fat and bloated, which I am not a fan of.

Damn you halloween, with your sugary goodness. And now we are mere weeks from Thanksgiving, which is another carbstravaganza. A delicious one, but still. I need to lose 20lbs!

I purged myself of sugar for the past 2 weeks. I was amazed. Then Halloween came...I'm a big fat pig...the candy bowl is sitting right next to me...

Almond Joys...my mouth is chewing one as I type. Great lunch.../sigh! I usually eat raisins for lunch. I'm not supposed to eat them but I need that sweet boost and try to only get it by eating fruit. I'd throw this bowl of candy away but hubby would blow a gasket because ITS LIKE THROWING AWAY MONEY! I'd have to hear the 20 minute "I should have just drove down the street tossing dollar bills out the window..." speech...and I'm not up for that right now. lol

The best part about living 1100 miles away from my family is that I don't have to worry about getting fat for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I haven't had either in three years, and honestly, I don't really miss them. I was never a big fan of turkey anyway, and coupled with the awkward conversations and the, "OMG, is that all you're going to eat?" being thrown around all the time, I'm glad that I can just be thankful for things I have without being forced into family interaction.

(And yes, that is all I'm going to eat. I didn't like turkey last year or any other year, and that's not magically going to change. I don't like stuffing, either, nor do I like mashed potatoes. Yes, I'll have some buttered rolls and some cheese, and when the meal is over, I'll fix myself something else so that I can eat without looking like a disrespectful asshole for not eating your food at the dinner table in front of everyone else, but for now, yes, this is all I'm eating. You've never made any effort to feed me something I would like, not even some small side dish, so I am not going to be made to feel guilty for not eating what you cook when that doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. You've known this about me and never changed anything, and you constantly comment that I must be some ungrateful twat for not eating it. I can not change my taste buds, so fuck off. I'll eat what I like. And you people wonder why I'd spend most of the holiday up in my room.)

Christmas is not much better. I've purged. I don't feel obligated to buy anyone anything anymore. I call my family members and we talk for 20 minutes or so, and then I relax and I don't feel pressured to be anything to anyone. And I also don't have to worry about the guilt about not being able to afford anything for anyone. (Which I never am. Ever.) When I go to see my kids I will buy them presents but that's it.

Holidays have largely disappeared from my plane of existence.

Being a good six thousand or so miles away from pretty much anyone related to me, I can also say pretty safely that I don't give much of a damn about the holidays. Still going to be weird though, considering my school doesn't have a Christmas break. Nothing like having quizzes on Christmas eve.

On the plus side, KFC has been advertising their Christmas special since mid-October.

My local wal-mart has a Christmas tree up in the entryway. It was up before Halloween. Whatever happened to merchants waiting till Thanksgiving to do Christmas-y stuff?
