Why people even bother with chocolate cereals in the first place is something worthy of this thread. Rice cereals for the win.
As for Life Cereal, I prefer the original and cinnamon varieties. I know that it isn't technically cinnamon, and I really want to get my culinary hands on some Ceylon cinnamon one of these days. (As far as real cinnamons go, the best I've had as of yet was Saigon. Seriously, real cinnamon blows Cassia out of the water.)

Yeah, I recently started reading George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series. I started to really get into it, and then I found out the series isn't done yet. I'd rather wait, thanks.

I started off loving those books but they have one major flaw. I loved the interweaving story following several close characters but putting their name at the start of each chapter makes it easy and tempting to skip the characters you don't like. I still don't know what happens to Jon Snow.
Book related pet peeve. Trawling second hand book shops for 70s and 80s sci fi (you know, back when sci fi was still good), finding something really interesting then realising it's part of a series you will never find the rest of. I'll never find the third book of that weird series where you found out some mystic guys in an ice cave somewhere were turning live people into self aware stone game pieces that only the main character could talk to. Not having the foggiest why they were doing that still bugs me occasionally.

That's probably because you've never had any real cinnamon. See, the cheap stuff you see most everybody in the U.S. use for "cinnamon," is actually called cassia, which is pretty much a cheap substitute. You'll seldom find anybody who actually knows the difference, either.
My local grocery store actually packs some Saigon cinnamon, which is better than cassia, but if you're lucky enough to find Ceylon cinnamon (the "true" cinnamon), you're in for a treat.
When shopping for cinnamon, here's a hint: if you're in the U.S. and you find something that's just labeled "cinnamon," more often than not, it's just cassia (and not actually cinnamon).
Also, earlier I accidentally added a word to my Firefox Spell Check dictionary which I didn't want to add. Anybody know how to remove it?

Sort of. But it's more a reference to the Galkas eating Tarus discussion from yesterday.
New RL Pet Peeve: Running out of one color of post it tabs when marking sections in a book. Now I have to have two colors that mean the same thing, or go back and replace all the ones I've already done.
Yes, it's a stupid thing to be annoyed by. But oh well.
Old pet peeves: Pride.
And Gluttony.
And Envy.
And Lust.
And Wrath.
And Sloth.
And Greed.
Seriously, it's not very hard to determine why the Christian church happened to outlaw them: they're annoying as hell to live with.
For example, don't you wish those impudent persons would realize that they're wrong?
Or the guy sitting next to you at the dinner table to stop scarfing down all there is to eat?
Or somebody who just doesn't seem to like you, just because you did something they couldn't, to be more friendly?
Or for that one person to stop flirting with you when you already said a million times you aren't interested?
Or that one guy with a temper to calm down and stop ruining everybody's day?
Or that lazy bum to get off of his bum and start pulling his own weight?
Or that one person to stop being a money-grubbing jerk?
I don't care if they're actually deadly sins or not, but by practicing them, you're making somebody else miserable, I assure you.
Inconsiderate jerks . . .

Try looking for an RPG manual/book you've only saw once during /sigh/stabs-self, pokemon league, of Tenchi Muyo that had Ryoko on the cover. I haven't been able to dig anything up of it. Oh, and Viz for changing their manga sizes, now my No Need for Tenchi collection is out of sync cause of how late i gotten issues 8-11 ; ;
We wouldn't be humans, nor humanity exist without those flaws.
Though, I'm more of a fan of apathy, rage, cowardice, arrogance and envy =p
Oh ty YM for reminding me of an ever lasting peeve when i hear it.
Christian church. Part of my peeve of the religion of the land.
<_< History is there for a reason. Not to repeat it. Yet... well you get the picture, hopefully of where I'm getting at.
