I had to ask someone to get out of my cubicle a few months ago because she totally reeked of cigarettes & I couldn't breathe. My actual phrasing was something to the effect of, "Oh my GOD - you reek and you're making it hard for me to breathe. Go away!"

I'm subtle like that sometimes.

It's weird how some smokers don't smell bad after they smoke, and others are truly awful.

I'd rather deal with some scented products than the B.O. they're covering. We have one guy who douses himself whenever he's trying to hide the scent of booze -- but everyone knows that if he reeks of cologne, he must be hammered. Does he really think he's fooling people?

I worked with a woman that either had hyperhidrosis or just didn't bathe. Then she would douse herself in perfume, the current popular brand that I happened to love. I didn't have to work with her often but, of course, when I was in my first half of my pregnancy she was assigned to my department. The combination of body odor and the sweetness of the perfume was enough to have me running to the nearest waste paper basket and heave my guts out. I went home and threw away all of that perfume and a couple others too. I can not stand it when someone douses themselves in perfume/cologne to diguise another stench.

Thats the thing, it doesn't disguise it. It overwhelms it at first but then all the smells seep together into this apocalyptic smell of shit.

Exactly! *shudders* I can still smell that awful stink to this day and can not stand sweet smelling perfumes.

Yeah it's the same as those perfumy things in bathrooms. Yeah, of course it smells like ass in here, it's a fucking bathroom, but the lilacs on top of the shit just smell like lilacs on top of shit.

New one... and I'm very pissed off... language warning.

I'm NEVER getting a haircut from a guy again. When I go in, I'm requesting a woman to cut my hair. Why? Because men FUCKING SUCK. They do NOT listen to what you want and every GD time they give you the stupid haircut they have. What is so difficult to understand when one says, "Very little off the top... keep most of the length. I'm in a show and they want me to keep this length, so just a trim on the sides" Next thing I know he's cutting about 1-1.5inches off the front and top, but then it's too late... now I have his stupid fucking metro-sensual POS haircut.

"How's that look?"
"Okay..."
"Just okay?"
"It's alright... "

If you wanted my true opinion it would involve my fingers wrapped around your scrawny pansy-ass neck and my fist pumelling your already ugly pocky face... I hope you get herpes.

So... lesson learned.

You are correct... but the full bent of my anger really wasn't there until I was well away from the place. I'm not experienced in making a stink either. I knew it was way shorter than I wanted in the shop, but I really didn't realize how pissed I was about it until I'd run some more errands and gotten back from work from my lunch.

... but three strikes, you're out. This is the third time I've noticed I don't like the haircut I get from the male persuasion.

Might sound creepy but idc... I'll ask for a woman from now on.

As with so many things, it totally depends on the person.

For instance there's this *gasp* male olde school barber I normally like to hit when I can, he gives GREAT haircuts and often gives good advice on how to cut my hair.

Then there's a lady who works there who also gives good haircuts.

The other two ladies who work there have stated too many times that they'd kill to have hair like mine, so I don't like them cutting my hair....

I think I've mentioned this before, but anybody who cuts hair feels compelled to mention this to me. It gets fucking old. Especially when you just want to sit there and have your hair cut, and not try to have a conversation.

My grandma cut my hair when I was a kid, so my hair cutting routine consists of sitting down, shutting up, and not fucking moving.

Yes, hairdressers like to chat you up usually. At the place I go to there is one girl there that looks pissed off on a continual basis. One time my girl had a car accident on the way to work so I had to get a trim from the pissed off chick. She made an attempt at banter at the beginning of the cut but it quickly died out and she was perfectly content to just cut my hair and not say a word. It was kind of eerie. lol I don't mind chatting away with someone while they cut my hair, as long as I like that person. Annie, who was my hairdresser and now my son's too (god I wish he'd date her!), is a little chatterbox and the sweetest thing so its very easy to hold a conversation with her....with some hairdressers its just awkward.

Set your son up for a haircut with her specifically. Dim the lights, set some candles, and play some cheesy romantic music. If that doesn't work, then movies have lied to me. ;(

lolololol Well he does go to her for his hair needs. I gave him a makeover for his birthday a couple years ago and he's been going to her ever since. She's really cute, she's like 5' tall, and she weighs maybe 100 pounds. She adores him too. Whenever I go in she'll ask about him and then go on and on about how much she respects him for all he does for me and how hard he works with school and working, etc. I've told him but I just don't know...

I've found that the gay guys are the best with hair. Many of my friends also agree.

Then again, I haven't paid someone else to cut my hair in more than ten years.
