    Exactly! 2+ people walking together anywhere in public usually turns into a hot mess. That's why I'm glad that I have an abnormally big stride when I walk. Anybody walking with me will always say "HEY SLOW DOWN LONG LEGS!" but that is my normal walking speed, keep up or GTFO.

      Ok...I'm short and I have short legs and I HATE HATE HATE HATE walking with my son/husband/both whenever we go anywhere. I either have to RUN to keep up or look like a screeching hag as I yell at them to let them know they are leaving me behind. I realize its your normal gait but when you are with someone it is polite to try and take that persons "handicaps" into consideration. lol

        Okay, I'm moving on Saturday, but one more roommate pet peeve:

        TURN THE FUCKING LIGHT OFF WHEN YOU ARE NOT IN THE ROOM! Goddamn, I went out to get some ice thinking they must be all out there, and no ... no one. Three fucking lights on (living room, kitchen, hall way) and no one anywhere around. Fuck man it's not difficult.

        I'm so glad I am leaving this place. And then my pet peeves can be work and commute related. XD

          LMAO! I'm sorry TGM. I do slow down when people ask me to....eventually. But I figure if I slow down too much, I'll be one of the slow people walking in public I was just talking about.

            Dont get me started on roommate pet peeves. I spent 3 quarters with 1 crappy roommate and one "OK" roommate. There is a reason why I spent the next 2 years at that school living alone even though I had to eat only top ramen for a week out of a month.
            (BAH! Got me started)

            When eveyone agreed to wash their own dishes and one roommate's dishes have become a science experiment in the sink after sitting there for 3 weeks. We told him 2-3 times each week to wash his dishes. Near the end of the third week we put all his dishes in a box and place it in his room with a note saying "Please dont leave dirty dishes in the sink for more than three days."

              And this is why I refuse to live with one of my friends. He's a good kid but goddamn does he have a problem with keeping things clean, and doing any sort of house work.

                New Peeve: Eye Hacks!

                Waiting on one of my supervisors to post a position, but for some reason she's waiting until the last minute to do so. Was scrolling down the list of potential jobs on our website and noticed that the job was posted and open. I was like "OMG FINALLY!!!" only to realize that it was at another district.

                Only problem is that the starting pay is less than what I make now by about 50 cents lmao. In order for me to take that job, I'd have to get an interview and talk them up at least 4-5 dollars since that is what I'd make if I get the job at my current workplace (Step System, I've been here 5 years and am on the 6th step, next year I'll be at my peak). I did like that the job had summers off. If I had summers off that'd save me from taking random days off during the year.

                    New peeve within 2 hours of the last one . Stores that do not have more than 1 cashier during lunch rush...I mean seriously Best Buy, the people in front of me paid with 100 forms of money... I have never in my life seen 2 people pay with 2 debit cards, a credit card, cash, and a check all at once. They were still paying when customer service came over by me and checked me out at the Geek Squad kiosk.

                      More of an annoyance that a peeve but whatever.

                      People using phrases that dont make sence or people telling you off with a botced up phrase of some type. Like "cold as hell" i dont know how this even came along...HELL AINT COLD PEOPLE! and i never heard it till i started reading this forum but whats up with "rusty wooden spoon"?
