    Re: Hollywood OS.

Apparently street lights have IP addresses.
As much as I hate to say it, some probably do. Many major cities nowadays have coordinated traffic systems, including remotely controlled traffic lights. I haven't seen that movie, but the idea of traffic signals being connected to a network is completely plausible.

      Re: Hollywood OS.

Stuff like that really doesn't bother me, at least not technical mishaps.

Things that do bother me: I like dance movies. I always have, always will. So why do they insist on teaching someone who's never had any formal dance training a few moves and hoping they'll be able to fake their way through it? Real dancers, those of us who FLOCK to these movies, can tell. Your average citizen can't, but those of us who live to dance can tell when someone is faking it. Biggest example of this is Julia Stiles. She's AWFUL at ballet. Her hip hop is decent, but ballet ... just ... no. They should have hired a dance double for her, and it would have been a hell of a lot more believable for her to get accepted to Juliard. FUCKING Juliard. I mean, come on.

I was pleased with Step Up because the dancing was good, same with Center Stage. Get real dancers to fill in where necessary and things are so much better.
