I have a sony ericson W810i (see pic)


It has an inbuilt walkman, a 2 megapixel camera built in with video mode and wap etc.

Other than phone calls and txt messages, I use the walkman feature in teh gym when working out on the machines and the camera is a good abckup when on site for taking photos should my camera die / memory is full etc. Theys till give a good 640x480 photo from the phone which is ample. i can also use the 512mb memory stick 9that came with it) to store not only music for the walkman feature but any files I want so its kind of a backup memory stick that can talk to my pc via bluetooth.

It also has a nice bright led light I can use when on surveys (if the toarch runs out) and also I ahve no watch so its my time piece.

and the thin-ness is one of the things that drew me to it.

That's actually what I hate about it. It's to thing for my tastes. It feels very flimsy too, like I'm going to break it anytime.

Had a razr for two+ years and never had any problems with it breaking. Always seemed to be sturdier than you'd think. The thinness made it incredibly easy to carry in my pocket
Now using iphone. Its my timepiece, flashlight when I go to bed late at night and their are no lights on. Occasionally an alarm clock.
Plus, being able to check weather and sports scores quickly and anywhere is nice.

I've had cell phones fall, break into pieces, and work perfectly once you snap them back in place.

My next phone will likely be an iPhone or a Blackberry. If I were still with Sprint, I'd get the Touch, which I've been hearing good things about, but I'm not, so it's a moot point.

edit: And yeah, I've dropped my Razr a lot. It's sturdy as hell.

Go with Blackberry. iPhones are way overrated... They wouldn't sell half as much without the brand "i" in front of it.

I've used both, and like both. Both have features I need/want. iPhone wins out for form factor, multi-touch and the larger screen, but otherwise, they are pretty even. Overrated is totally subjective.

Only an idiot would, Feba, since they only cost $400.

I mainly use my cell phone as a text machine and a phone, but just as feba does, I use it as a flashlight as well from time to time.
