Re: What's the significance of your avatar?

Feba: Yes, I have. I can take pics of them (and me in them) if you want. I even have my little Pilot Card.

The Shimoda Mall (the local mall) has a Gundam that's about half my size. I dunno if it's for sale or just a promotional item, but it's rather amusing to see. I'll take pics next time I'm out and about.

        Bunny, of course.

Because the comic makes me happy and have floaty hearts. And also hell yeah, rabbits.

There is no rush. If you're not willing to take your time, don't be surprised when no one wants to give you much of theirs.

Mine is Iori cause I started playing KoFXI again...and I love cancelling into Iori's Hana special. >_>;; I had Ivalice Alliance logo before, but I haven't played War of the Lions lately, so I thought it'd be good to get a new one.

My avatar is a picture the 7 Claymores who survived the campaign of 40 Claymore who went to North for a massive battle vs awaken beings.

Side Note: For those who watch the anime, ignore everything after episode 20 because it is where where it started to diverge from the manga. The manga's story arc is better for the massive fight in the north.

                    1) I like drinking.

                    2) I like old school Square games.

                    3) I like Andrew W.K.

Edit: lol whoops, I forgot this is the only forums I don't use that avvy on!

This one is from the little FFXI spin-off comic that Scott from VGCats makes(I'm sure you guys have seen it already), and it looks really close to Elvaan 6B, which is the character model I have ingame.

I'm working on a new avatar right now, but he is Akizuki Youjirou (秋月 耀次郎) from the Taiga-like anime Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto.

It's really a shame that vgcats has gone so far downhill.

Re: What's the significance of your avatar?

This avatar was a brief bit of image editing on my part, for use in an avatar gallery on an RP forum. I started with some images of FFIX moogles, spliced two together (face of one and body of another), did some minor recoloring of the fur, and then added the glasses as a final touch (was looking for a sort of stereotypical librarian look to them). The image was used as an avatar for a female moogle engineer character in an FF4-based RPG, even though it doesn't perfectly match the character (it still works well for giving a sense of who's speaking and all).

I was pleased with the overall effect, so I started using this in place of my old general avatar (a modified FF6 moogle sprite holding a staff).

I have a long history of playing moogles in FF-themed RP. My original interpretations lean rather heavily on an old, huge FF6-based RPS (there were a small handful of players who played moogles, and only two of them actually set up any real background for moogles as a group; I worked out a general story of things based on combining elements from both players' works, and used that to base a number of characters' backgrounds from, even though those characters were actually appearing in separate IRC RPGs), but I've done somewhat different interpretations for different settings, especially FFXI's moogles (accounting for their known abilities and tendencies as best possible).

Edit: BTW, the image editing was done in The GIMP.
