I'm waiting for britain to enforce a life tax where you'll be shot if you dont pay it.

They already are...

Foods going up (again) Petrol is now average 103p a litre ($2 a LITRE council tax is going up 4% (and they are cutting service it pays for!) You have to earn £27000 ($53000) just to be able to afford a morgage for a 1 bedroomed flat! Tv liscence went up again this year, business rates have gone up and bus fares and train fares rose by 6% in janurary (so much for wanting more people to use public transport!) it would cost me £2.90 a day to travel the 3 miles from home to work ($5.74) on the bus. Yet wages have not risen to compensate for all these costs and we are taxed to the hilt. I pay 40% of my wages on tax, national insurance and student loan payment a month, this is before bills, rent, running car etc. Oh yeah electricity and gas prices are going up 20% in may making electricity and gas prices the highest in the world! Electricity will be approaching £0.15/KWH ($0.30) when you pay in the US on average $0.084.

Its getting to a time where it is difficult to afford anything here in the UK, very difficult.
