DS(, sorry but the whole story arc was the best, being in a single area they could expand more on thr characters and create long story arcs. And what can i say, the dominion war, shapeshifters, its just class.

That's actually what I dislike about DS9-- I've always looked at Star Trek as an episodic show. Sure, there are some backstories and themes, but you can get the gist of an episode very easily just by looking at it, even if you've never seen that series before. If I had seen DS9 from the beginning I might've enjoyed it, but every episode I see is just meaningless drama after meaningless drama to me.

I can tell you one thing that won't happen....The Original Series won't win the poll. Too many young'uns brought up on all the glitz and glamour, so the ground breaking series that started the entire phenomenon will be unloved! I voted TOS cause you couldn't have the others without the success of that one!!

I never really watched DS9 or Voyager. I saw TOS a lot as a kid, and enjoyed it, but TNG was pretty much the one that really captured my interest, since I was old enough then to actually think about what they were doing there. Honestly, they all seemed kind of the same to me. Using the framework of whatever show to explore the same themes. So I vote for TOS, since it started the whole trend.

Sorry Voyager here too.

TNG was great, Jean Luke was just cool but the preaching was a bit heavy handed sometimes and it was a bit smug, you rarely got the impression they were in actual peril or had to face any consequences for what they did. Also most of the characters were a bit too serene and goody two shoes.

DS9 I am with Feba on. By the later series I just didn't care about the characters anymore, particularly story lines involving Sisko's extended family problems. It was the same people all the time with petty little problems and the whole messiah mystic story line was like watching an embarrassingly earnest but apologetic Christian at a party.

I liked Voyager because they actually felt in danger fairly often, they didn't have as much of a safety net. Their actions had consequences, they made major mistakes and there were a quite a few screw up characters and tensions that made the series much more human and interesting than TNG.

Voyager because it the that most different out of all the ST series. First time we had a crew unable to contact Star Fleet for the longest time. Truely out in the unknown reaches of space and put to the test of their desire to get back to Earth and still carry the Prime Directive.

Second choice would be TNG being how I grew up on it, then started watching Voyager when it was mid way through its 3rd season. The series that gave us the Borg, majority of actors who also played as voices in Gargoyles, and the 3 recent movies. Plus, I loved its earlier seasons with Tasha Yar, and when we had Mority hologram taking control of the ship, pure epic win. Then best times were when we had Q running around, testing humanity and getting on Picard's nerves.

3rd TOS. Watched a good portion of episode being replayed on SciFi, The Doomsday Machine, and at times, its just classic feel when you watch it, you just can't forget it. Without it, we wouldn't have the series we do today.

4th DS9. Meh, it was ok, I just couldn't enjoy watching it most of the time. I dont know why, I just couldn't stand watching it. Mind you there was some good episodes, such as seeing the next EMH type program in the works, a time travel episode with the TOS spliced in with Tribbles! But thats about it.

5th ENT. I got nothing really. Only thing that could intrest me would be that vulcan chick and seeing that one episode of the borg. Other than that, it feels like they honestly failed.
