picked up the name change forms earlier, but looks like I'm gonna need to get a lawyer to fill them out.

Absolutely right. All my life I had been running around calling myself one name and when I went to get married I found out my birth certificate had a slightly different version of my name on it. >< I guess my mother was drugged out of her mind and spelled it wrong. So I had to change it and all it took was a bit of running back and forth in the courthouse. Some of the clerks are law students/paralegals so they helped me with the paperwork right on the spot for free. Good thing too cause we picked up the marriage certificate 2 days before the wedding!
