I don't know if anyone heard (since it's been going on for awhile as a rumor), but Jamie Lynn Spears (sister of Britney Spears) is pregnant at the age of 16.

For a completely different reason than what you might think you are being presented.

Jamie Lynn Spears is the star of the Nick show Zoe 101. Nick is (surprise surprise) aimed at kids 9-15 years old.

I hear that Nick is even considering making an hour special about it for kids (about underage pregnancy, birth control, etc). That right there should get your more upset than anything else related to this story.

Are kids and teenagers still influenced by TV stars? I mean I can understand parents and the network not wanting her role model star become a role model of underaged sex/pregnancy.

But kids these days see things 10 times worse just going to school every day.

So my question is, does it really matter if the girl got pregnant or not? Would it really influence her fans that much? It sounds too last century, but since I havent been that age in a long long time I have to ask.

Parents of young girls that are fans of the show should be aware of this and be upset. The rest of us.....meh. The show should be cancelled and PARENTS, NOT Nick, should have a talk with their children if they are fans of this show.

All I can say is, I hope Jamie Lynne isn't following the footsteps of her sister Brittney. If she looks up to Britney as a role model, she's in for a life of misery and hell.

I defend my actions because of how kids of that age who get banged up treat teh kids. I live in an area with the highest teenage pregnacy rate in europe. we also have teh highest youth crime rate, and worst schooling results. Who do you blame for kids being out at all hours, goign truant and swaering at people at the age of 5. (yes i saw a 5 year old tellign an old women to F off in the bus station last week) Parents that young are still kids themselves and 99% of them are not mature enough to be parents. I am entitled to my opinion and with the actual evidence above I stand by my words.

And where the hell did you get that from? Jarre is clearly talking about the mindset of someone that gets pregnant at 16. I highly doubt that, if he even knows about the reputation the Southern US has, he knows where the hell this girl is from. Hell, why the hell do you know?

As to thread, eh. Kids see worse crap than this at school every day. The fact that this is news is really freakin' sad.
