To be honest, many MMO gamers only have time for one MMO so it is the MMO of their choice and nothing.

I swear I'll finnish Xenosaga and FFXII one day.
Well, there is a big difference between it being all or nothing with regard to playing, and all or nothing with regard to subjective enjoyment level/taste/appearance/gameplay, etc.

I completely understand how MMO gamers can't afford (both in money and time) to play multiple games. What I take issue with is people who seem to feel a compulsion to express how and why the games they aren't playing are complete trash.

It's just human nature. Though at least I can be content in the fact my VW is better then any other car of the same class from any other manufacturer and be right in my assertion.

See, I don't buy that it's human nature. It's behavior common to stupid people, but most rational individuals recognize that there are pros and cons to every option.

Also, feel free to refrain from posting about how most people are stupid, or that most aren't rational, etc. I get it.

It's common to everyone and simply stems from people not wanting to be wrong. People can see that there are pros and cons to something yet still blindly feel whatever they choose is better. It must be because they choose it. It's no different then racism. Perfectly reasonable and rational people can still be horrible racists.

              Quite a few.

Mhurron, no. Perfectly rational and reasonable people aren't racists. They may consider themselves to be perfectly rational and reasonable, but they aren't. Clearly.

It may shock you, but some people don't have to be right all the time.

edit: Anyway, this has almost nothing to do with WoW. Then again, it's better than debating the subjective quality of the game itself, so...progress?

              (Probably not.)

Oh but they can be. Racism can be presented in a perfectly reasonable, logical manner where intelligent people can sit and say, 'yes, I can see that.'

Insert "I like where this thread is going" image here.

People can be perfectly rational in some situations and on some topics and utterly irrational on others. Normal person + audience + anonymity = total dipwad, even in real life.

CNN? Ok, CNN lies about alot of stuff that they post in the first place. But, even though I hate racism, I do agree that they can be perfectly reasonable about what they are talking about. Their will be people that will yell and scream about it and cant talk. That is just people in general, but not everyone is unreasonable when it comes to those kind of topics. Personaly I dont care what race/religion/sexual orientation/sex or whatever you are. Its all that matters what is inside your heart. But people can honestly say, "I dont believe that there is such thing as homosexuality (or whatever.) it does not exist to me." Etc..without screaming and yelling about it.

                        I was in a WoW guild called <Naga Please>

It was originally called <Naga Stole My Bike>, but they made us change it.
