I've always been a Coke drinker. Pepsi just doesn't have that same refreshing 'kick' in it like Coke.

I try not to drink sodas as I am allergic to the artificial sweeteners that they put in a high majority

I went to Canada this summer and aalllmost ended up staying because they use almost no artificial sweeteners in Coke; it's all real sugar. Best damned Coke I ever tasted in my life. If it wasn't for the highway system and customs patrol, I coulda stayed longer. Instead, I just brought back 3 24-packs of it with me. Damn that shiz was good.

I'll be entirely honest I probably drink a fizzy drink (or soda as you call it) about 10 times a year if that. A pint of Tea any time quenches my first.

Wow. Seem like some of you like Dr. Pepper a lot (which I personally don't like). I love Root Beer lol Anyway, like my first post, I prefer Pepsi over Coke.

I grew up in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, so Dr. Pepper was common. I hate it, however. Same with Coke, Pepsi, and just about any other "dark" soda. The taste (and aftertaste) and texture makes it feel like it's sandpapering my taste buds off, and choking me from the inside of my throat. That's no good.

Sprite wins, so does Sunkist orange soda. Also:

Since someone mentioned root beer, and Dr. Pepper.. I might as well tip the scales and say that I REALLY like Creme Soda, and I was disappointed in Pepsi and Coke's attempts at it.

Welch's is fucking awesome. Not sure if you know this (or care) but a major Welch's plant is right here in my hometown, due to the amount of grapes in this region. If you really want to learn more about Welch's look up the plant in North East, PA. That's the little town where I live and where grapes are a staple crop.
