Started watching the TV dub the other day and much like all other Digimon shows it's not half bad. Unlike that crap Pokemon that just recycles it's own stories over and over and over again, Digimon is cool cause it always tries to do something different.

Though none of those shows can touch the Awesomeness that was Monster Rancher.

I wholeheartedly agree. And look at my title.

Not to mention the Pokémon anime drags each season out far too long. I stopped watching it long ago: I think just about every real Pokémon fan has done the same by now. Granted, the first season was pretty awesome, I don't think anybody likes it any further than the first few seasons (ispo ergo somewhere in the middle of Jhoto).

Also (and this is, in a way, upon hindsight), I don't see why people compare Pokémon and Digimon in the first place: they are two entirely different things, if you ask me. Like apples and oranges, really.
