International bloggers are preparing an action to support the peaceful revolution in Burma. We want to set a sign for freedom and show our sympathy for these people who are fighting their cruel regime without weapons. These Bloggers are planning to refrain from posting to their blogs on October 4 and just put up one Banner then, underlined with the words „Free Burma!“.

...so the purpose would be just to set a sign and show sympathy and support for a repressed people? I'm all for that. Just my personal perspective here, but everyone that is being repressed needs the same thing....(I'm not advocating anything here....)

Who's going to do something about this? I ask because cruel regimes don't hand over their power/authority/control to anyone....least of all any group that would want to instill a peaceful democracy in their country. Generally, violent interdiction is necessary....(and that's unfortunate.) >.<

If you weren't you wouldnt be discrediting me and how the U.S. doesnt belong on the north american continent. where i live has nothing to do with the topic at hand. that topic happens to be china having its hand in explicit violations of human rights in this day and age.

Nah, he isn't trying to justify China, if anything he is criticizing the way you made your comment as if your country wasn't the same.

There's a big difference.

If you are gonna criticize another country don't do it in a way that makes it look like you or your country are above all that, because you are not. It's a simple as that.

Thats with the assumption that I'm american. which technically I am, but my family is from Taiwan. So I think the whole fuck ya im american everyone else sux assumption goes out the window.
