Click the username, View public profile, Add [username] to ignore list. I think the title was self-inflicted.

And we don't have a rule against trolling, I assume because it depends so much on your perspective. But BRP, you're really one to point it out ... if we did have a trolling rule you'd probably have been banned thrice over by one mod or another.

Yeah, but they were only for a couple days each. I'm talking about account-go-bye-bye bans. The fact that he hasn't been banned in so long should be evidence enough that we don't discriminate based on conflicts of personality.

Granted, you are right that strict rulings could lead to myself being banned, but it's hardly related in this case. This person is not having a heated debate or dispute, but entire purpose is to make stupid topics to annoy people.

Also, doesn't change the fact that moderation seems to be placebo; when I was calling this person a troll(and posts being deleted), why wasn't I directed under the "self moderation" rule? It humors me, because it looks like I was right.

Well, different mods do things differently and we've had a pretty good mix of them around here lately.

I don't think this is a troll, it just looks like one. You I'll credit with the intelligence for calculated efforts to draw people out. The OP seems to just be posting whatever inane thing comes to mind and people are flipping out about it.

Anyway, even though I don't see any value in these topics, it's not against the rules to attempt to discuss this stuff, so I just ignore them. I still maintain that the best thing to do about a troll is to not reply. If not for the people complaining about these threads junking up New Posts, they would have stopped appearing there hours ago.

You have any idea how much debate was going on about you? It took months to decide how to deal with you. BRP, do you know how long that took? What are you doing now? Admitting what you did was trolling by saying others arent being "treated" like you were? Cry me a river, you managed to annoy and bother everyone around here for longer than I can even remember.

We will deal with things our way, and that will take however long we believe it should. You can just make a fuss all you want, but I thought you finally had achieved some level of maturity.

Don't blow out what I'm saying out of proportion, I don't care too much on what mods do(even in regards to me), but there's a big difference between being a legit account that annoys people and an account solely made to annoy people. I don't see why this person even needs to be defended, when it seems everyone in this thread but the mods are aware how fake he is. You could at least tell it to stop making flamebait threads.
