Shuttles cost billions because they're fat ass things that need to be repaired loads and carry people.

I'm sure someone somewhere has an Sega Satun around, crash that into the moon and have a pre crash fuse to eject a small ball out the side with a camera in it, ball will roll atleast 50 miles on the moon =P
