Anyone else have a problem like this before?

I play on xbox live, and for some reason it wont let me on playonline. I sign in (i can see how many ppl r on my friends list and i can play other games on live) but when i try to sign in to playonline, i get the message "To log on to PlayOnline, you must first sign in to Xbox Live. Sign in now?"
Then when i sign in, it takes me to the same message.

I just moved on campus so im thinking maybe the college connection for some reason is blocking me from playonline, but im not sure
