I think affecting one's fortunes by changing bed directions makes exactly as much sense as praying to an invisible friend in the sky or living one's life according to the tenets of a work of fiction written a couple thousand years ago.

NightShayde said exactly what I was going to say. How is it different than going to church and praying to God? Not that I knock it - I do pray, occasionally - but if you believe it and it brings you comfort, then why not?

In a somewhat related note, the way I rearranged has made the room appear bigger. I think it was just poorly laid out before, and mostly because I'd been sleeping on an air mattress for a week and I was extremely anxious to get my bed up and ready for comfortable sleeping without really caring how it was laid out.

Im officially bored as hell at work and have started looking at video game industry schools. Does anyone know of one that's reputable? Its a pipe dream, but if there something local, I'd be interested in scoping it out at least.

Yeah, I don't do that either. If the new layout of the room makes it feel better to you, then that's great. If you feel better about waking up in the room then you can carry that forward to the rest of your day.

Acc +10 or DW +3% for lvl 90 body piece with capped sword skill + merits (RDM)?

Also keeping in mind I'll probably use the same piece to melee up to lvl 99 and whatever skill cap that means.

I'm leaning more towards DW, but that would limit it's functionality to /DNC and /NIN, whereas acc +10 would help me on other subs like /BLU.

Depends on whether or not the DW/Acc traits (plus Double att +2%) I'll be getting works better for me while meleeing than the 4% haste.

Better looks is a plus on goliard, but the time it will take us to get to floor 80 and then actually getting it to drop makes it less apealing. Then there's the thing about Conserve MP not helping me much because I usually cast with either INT/Fast Cast on my macros so I'd rarely see that trait at work.

Acc +10 is +5% hit rate boost. This could improve your damage by 5.6 to 8.3% depending on whether your hit rate is closer to 90% or 60% (60 was chosen sort of arbitrarily, but if your hit rate is lower than that I'd say you might as well not melee.)

DW+3% will increase your DPS 4.16% at level 90 with just DWIII, 4.5% if you tack on Suppanomimi. DW+3% may result in a slight TP gain, Accuracy+10 is sure to increase your TP rate by whatever amount it's also boosting your DPS. Accuracy+10 is made useless if you're above 90% hit rate without it, DW+3% is undesirable if you've got enough Haste to reach the 80% delay reduction cap (since you could replace the DW with Haste for better TP.) Accuracy will help you with physical WS, DW+ won't.

Tl;dr Accuracy is better unless you're at the hit rate cap.
