Sooooo I found out some of our work environment may be changing in the near future, as they're trying to integrate all of North America's printing and mailing needs out of this office from ... sometime in the near future and forward. Which means all of the jacked up mail is going to come back to me. This may or may not be a bad thing.

I'm still going to shop around. I don't think it's going to magically make me like it here.

Being a tester isn't glamorous, and the pay varies between companies. It depends on how serious they take it or the scope of the games they're developing. Here at Bethesda Softworks I'm making $15/hr. I could really only check off the last two boxes, but I would have to add:

[ √ ] Possible weekend work during crunch time
[ √ ] Possible seven-day work weeks during crunch time

Although this was tough for me to deal with in the beginning, it's all natural now. The company expects a lot from you, here, but they treat you well. Really well.
