I'd like to thank the people who were concerned. It has indeed been a hellish month. I hate birthdays and mine was approaching. I was pleasantly surprised by my JP friend! He said he wanted to do a trip around the country and he started with Wisconsin. Unfortunately, he never got to go any farther. He died of a heart attack in my arms. After that, I had to deal with my Grandmothers 100th birthday where she immediately reminded me of her saying that big events in life happen in 3's. So losing my dear friend, her birthday...and yet another event was going to happen by her calculations. It was indeed true. My grandson lost his father. The poor child was in another state at the time at his step-mothers family reunion. His father had recently married and the little one was stuck in another state with a bunch of people that didn't really know him or care about him after watching his father die. (31 yrs old and he died from clogged arteries...you aren't invincible.) Well, I don't do well with stress and the resulting stress from all of this lowered my resistance and I had a kidney infection at the time. So I spent some time in the hospital, half of which I don't even remember (I hate that! But thats the RL pet peeves thread! lol).

So once again, thank you for your concern. My son does indeed stalk the forums and was trying to keep me up to date on the game updates. He brought me my laptop today and told me to "get back into the swing". lol

God damn, that sucks.

Really sorry to hear about your friend. Couldn't even imagine what it would be like having one die in your arms.

Nice son though, to check video game forums for you and bring a laptop in the hospital though...

Again thanks everyone! I'm really busy, especially with Thanksgiving tomorrow, but I try to pop in. Reading everyones comments, peeves, cookie harassment posts helps me relax and smile. ^^

SO I decided on a whim to log out of WoW and put up my Christmas tree. I got the thing out of the box, set it up, fluffed up the branches, and started to string lights, when I realized that I don't have enough lights (I'm doing only purple lights this year, and I only had two small strings) and that I'm going to have to shop for some when I get paid this week. Which would be tomorrow if not for the holiday, so Friday. Though not Friday because I don't shop on Black Friday, ever, even if I'm in dire need of toilet paper or something equally essential.

So my tree is sitting there halfway lit (well, I unplugged them for now) and kind of sad looking. Motivation = lost. Wonder if I'll even finish decorating it at all.

So yeah, I'm going to log back in to WoW now.
