                  So I am coming to terms with the fact that I will most likely be spending my 30th birthday alone.

                  Most of the people nearby whom I consider to be friends are not close friends - not people I would choose to spend time with outside of work (people from my last job, obviously), but people I would keep in touch with via e-mail and text. They've all got their own lives and their own circle of friends, and they seem to be content to keep me at arms length, so I've let them. The few I have that are close enough for me to want to spend time with them, all seem to be far too busy to be bothered with me.

                  There's still about two and a half months, but I already know how this is going to go. And there's a concert (George Strait and Reba McEntire with special guest Lee Ann Womack) the day before my birthday that I would kill to go to, but no one I've talked to has indicated a desire to go with me. The one person who said maybe still hasn't gotten back to me, and the tickets go on sale tomorrow. I'm sure they'll sell fast, so if I don't get them right away, I'm not getting any. I may end up just buying one ticket and going by myself, make it a birthday present to myself, but man, it sure does suck that there will be no one to even care enough to take time out of their busy life to spend time with me.

                      I guess, but there comes a point in time where you get tired of spending every single holiday alone. Even when I lived with my family I spent good portions of the holidays alone in my room, and no one even missed me.

                      I think I'm going to die alone. Unfortunately, I'll live to be 103, and I'll spend every agonizing year of my life waiting for holidays to come and go so I can just die already. :/

                      I hate life. Thanksgiving is coming up and I seriously feel like I've got nearly nothing to be thankful for. My kids, that would be just about it.

                          Meanwhile, Feba is 6000 miles away from his family for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and his Birthday.

                          The only person he feels at all close to is a girl who has agreed to go on a date eventually.

                          He also hasn't known in over a year whether his father is alive or dead.

                            Speaking of birthdays, mine is tomorrow! :D

                            Hate to rain on the gloom parade, but there is going to be Brawl, and snacks, and not just cake, but cakes. Also furries, so the chance of mews is relatively high, as well.
