So last night I dreamt that I was playing FFXIV with all of you.

All of you, except for BBQ's conspicuous absence. Which is kinda weird because I actually wouldn't mind playing a game with him sometime, he seems like the sort of guy who doesn't come off as as much of a douche when it's a video game and he actually know what he's talking about. But anyway, FFXIV. You guys.

I just walked to the grocery store and back and I saw someone driving a like, 1983 Oldsmobile, you know those big boats, and it was a beat up piece of crap, talking peeling paint, rust, I think one of the fenders didn't match ... and the fucker had chrome rims.

Priorities, much? That's like someone buying +1 Heca harness when they're still TPing in STR rings.

HAHAHAHA I love seeing people driving pos's and then having spinners or some shit on them! It happens a lot around here. I had to pull into a parking lot once so I could finish laughing...I was laughing so hard I was crying and couldn't see too well.

Also, the way FFXIV works, if anything I'd be trying to cast Magic on Gladiator or something like that. That would seem to me to be the best way to capture the magic knight flavor of Red Mage. Just being logical here, but then again, it is a dream . . .

I read about the site on BG, not really interested in listening though. Will bring back memories, some of which are not good enough to bring up. XD I loved being in Ex, for sure, but it was kind of the beginning of the end of XI for me and what really burned me out.

For reals, Aks. I was talking with a friend just last night, and he was all "MMOs AMIRITE" and I was all /nostalgiaforFFXI, and I went and watched a bunch of vids on YouTube for FFXI and I was all "FUUUUUUUUUUUU" but I resisted. Tho I was sad.

Heh, I've been FFXI free for 6 months now. I made sure I wasn't gonna go back by giving away all my stuff (though the whole level 99 thing ensured that anyway).

Kind of funny thinking about the fact I never even participated in a true end-game event. I mean, wow.
