Have to go fill out paperwork for a background check - and will probably have to go pee in a cup again - so waiting for that stuff to all go through, but will probably start sometime next week.

Ya, thats one test I'll fail. lol Of course, I'm seeing a pain management specialist so its all on the up and up but still I have opiates floating around in there that some companies wouldn't appreciate. lol Of course, the other day at the doctors office I ran into this woman that was taking ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY MGS OF OPIATES A DAY! And she was there to get her dose increased!! Jeez I freak out because I've been taking 20mgs a day and have been at the same dose for over 10 years. I try so hard not to be too dependent on these damn drugs...hell sometimes I even forget to take them on time! (Not something a true addict would forget!) Then people look at me sideways when they hear I take them and I want to scream. After seeing her and talking to her, I can proudly say I AM NOT THAT WOMAN! I wish I didn't have to take them at all but its a fact of life. If I don't, I'll be incapacitated for most of the day and I can get pretty damn bitchy when that happens! (Yes even more than I am now!)

That won't be a problem. My cell phone alarm is set to go off every day. I've been on the pill for two years now and haven't missed by more than a few seconds yet.

A lot of women can't be responsible about it, forgetting that even missing by a few minutes can put you at risk of pregnancy. That's how the pill works. You have to take it at the exact same time every day. Anyone who can't do that should find another form of birth control. Unless I'm in a dire emergency, there's no reason for me to be in any position where I can't take my pill right on time.

So I discovered the single most awesome thing about this game so far.

I'm playing a Dark Magician, which is basically BLM but I get to hit stuff while I'm soloing. XD Anyway. I have this spell called Darkness Arrow , and it's currently Lv2 (out of 5 that I can upgrade it to) and it does a disgusting amount of damage. It's fucking awesome. It shoots like four blasts of darkness at the mob, and usually each one does about 275 damage.

Well, there's also these things called boost chips. You throw them at the mob, and it weakens its defense. The ones I'm using weaken both magic defense and physical defense, so my spells are twice as powerful.

So I found that I can't cast this spell while being hit - insta-interrupt. Which sucks, but I've been using it to pull when it's up. And then I got a sleep spell, so I decided to try something.

Sleep > Boost chip (which did not wake the mob, SUCCESS!) > Darkness Arrow.

Holy fuck each arrow did nearly 1k damage. One shotting mobs for the mother fucking win.

Yeah, I kinda like this game. XD

And drug testing is good. It will be a nice fall back job for me after grad school just in case XD.

I spent the past two days (8 hours on Wednesday and 12 yesterday) at the SOFT (Society of Forensic Toxicologists) conference in Richmond yesterday. There are two more sessions today (one going on now and another @ 10), but I don't know if I can muster the will to go. Yesterdays near 2 hours on Oral testing may have been the most dull thing I have every sat through. There is one talk on Anabolic steroids (PED detection research/testing is what I am interested in) but it is in horses.
