Dude, were the Spartans freakin' invisible or do I just suck at Googling?

I can't find any bad choices they made throughout their Greek life span. This book doesn't explain anything, and Google mostly thinks I'm talking about the football team!

I'm about to say screw it and use the 300 movie as a reference!

(Also I expected The Muppets to pull a Old Spice commercial, but Sesame Street? Touche'.)

Well you see, usually the winners write the history books, but the Spartans recognized historians are a bunch of squares who do not excel in asskicking, and thus have no place in Spartan society. So the only record we have of Spartan asskicking was the one time they lost and there happened to be an Athenian nearby.

Does this help? Btw, if you put a - before a search term in google, it will only return pages that do not contain that term, so a search for spartans -football cuts out most of the crap.

Unfortunately not; every article I come across happens to be a bios such as that. It's like every recorded move these guys made either turned into a gridlock or a victory.

Edit: HA! Found something! Battle of Leuctra, couple of mistakes made that weakened them. Now the fun part of nitpicking what those mistakes actually were.

I have a second Serology midterm on Wednesday (lab), instrumentation test over chromatography on Thursday, a double microscopy midterm next Tuesday night (lecture and lab, separate tests) and a Toxicology conference that starts on Wednesday next week. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I'm calling it on studying for the midterm. I don't think doing any more review from this point out is going to help me remember more than I already know. Plus I have to get to school at 7 tomorrow to help set up a presumptives lab for an undergrad crime scene class, so I might as well be in a relaxed state going to bed. It'll be nice last minute review before my midterm at 9 XD

Ahh yes, those good ol' college memories...

I remember one time, I was taking a medieval history course because I needed some extra english classes at the UW. I wrote a paper for the midterm and the TA called me in to talk about my paper. We were chitchatting, having a good time, and he handed me the paper and said something along the lines of, "Really good job on the paper, it's hard to believe you're a transfer student from Bellevue Community College. They are widely known for being practically illiterate."

It wasn't until a day or two later that I realised that he thought I had someone else write my paper for me. Probably was a good thing, otherwise I'd have gotten rather angry due to the fact that I did not consider that paper anywhere near my best work. So to have someone accuse me of cheating on a paper that I thought was B material would have really made me mad.

I could be wrong, but based on the questions he was asking, why did I say this, my thoughts on this that and the other thing. They were questions that could not have been answered if I had had someone else write my paper kinds of questions, which makes me think that he thought I hadn't written it.

Try having the English teacher at such and such community college tell you that you write better than he does.

But you still have to take more fucking credits.

Once I missed a lab period for my Illustrator class so I attended another section to make up .. and found out my instructor was taking the class concurrently with me. She was learning the course material just a couple hours ahead of her own lecture.
