I feel for you on the toilet situation. Our upstairs pipe to the toilet needs to be replaced so we are existing with one toilet. All of us are starting to get a tad cranky about it too. Never fails that someone wants to use the damn thing when someone else is in there. The worst is at night though. I get up an assload of times to use the bathroom and I have to hobble downstairs. Ok going down stairs for an old woman alone can be hazardous, now add in half alseep, low lighting, etc and its a recipe for disaster. I've fallen down the stairs once already and damn near fallen a dozen times. I see something broken in my future.

figured this is as good a place as any to post something like this.. anyone that knows me knows i work as a goldsmith. well got an engraving machine at work and started messing around with it.. heres a couple things i have done.

oh the things i could do with that..

namely retire and play ff full time.

hey im cheap.. could pay off all my bills including house for under 50k.. and ramen cheap.. could retire and only have to worry about electricity and net connection..

Yeah but you'd never be able to sell it if you were the one who stole it, you'd have to melt it down and then it's worth a lot less. Like 450k less lol. That's still a lot of money but damn.

You could probably make some money engraving peoples characters on shit though! I made some good money making clay figurines of peoples characters for a while. lol

well depengin on size of the bar and purity they may just be goin by actual weight price.. normal gold bars in the gold reserves on average weigh 50lbs each and 24k and at market value is around 967k.

so if the bar had some weight 20+ lbs doesnt matter if its melted down or not its still gold no matter the form its in..

i would bet that the bar has already been melted down and is "gone" for all purposes..

it may have had some historical value but all in all gold is valued by weight and purity.

i would say that regardless of where it came from it was a 500k+ bar

yeah they took screenshots of their characters ingame and gave me them.. i then take it into some photo editing software cut out backgrounds and so on.. on Tauce it took me about 6-8 hours to get it ready for the machine.. for behzat and that damn aegis took about 20-25 hours photo editing..

then transferring them into the engraving software so the engraver could read the picture bout an hour each, then engraving for tauce was about 15-20 minutes.. engraving for behz took 49 minutes through the machine.

lighters are just what i made to give them as a test.. done coffee cups and so on.. that machine can engrave anything it can hold.. i engraved my laptops, we have engraved car parts..

Cool, I have a brand-new rotor I haven't changed in yet. Lol. Which, if you know anything about cars, would be the stupidest thing to engrave considering engraving would be basically adding to the wear and tear and thus shortening its lifespan.
