Re: Official bored at work / just shooting the shit / no rails to derail thread
Yeah, Dr. Pepper is typically bottled in different areas of the country by whoever is convenient. For the most part (and from what I can tell) its bottled in Texas by Coca-cola, in Denver it seems to be PepsiCo. I'd never seen sugar cane DP for sale outside of Dublin/Waco until this week when I was in Dallas staying at my sister's (just became an uncle for the first time this week, super excited) and my mom came back from Kroger's with some. Gonna have to check stores here now and see if I can find some. SO much better than corn syrup.
As for working out, I definitely need to start up, trying to decide between running and cycling. Have a friend who runs in Vibram 5 fingers and loves them.

If it weren't for being in the military I don't think I would ever work out. I am so burned out from running and doing pushups and sit-ups several times a week. Not to mention riding my bike to work and lifting weights twice a week.

/Everything that follows is factual with a lot of sarcasm and imo humor.
"Coke bottling the Pepper"? Dems fightin words mister. Apparently you've never heard the saying "Don't Mess With Texas".
Now for the good stuff since everyone here seems to like real sugar. There is a small bottling plant in Dublin Tx that still bottles Imperial Pure Cane Sugar Dr Pepper. Dublin Dr Pepper They are the oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant having been built in 1891. You can order the good stuff online. 24 8oz bottles for 16.50 + 5.00 shipping or 24 12oz cans for 10.00 + 5.00 shipping.
I hope you've enjoyed todays lesson. Remember the Alamo!
