                  I just finished watching Twilight something or other on DVD with my sister. We made fun of it the whole way through. It is a terrible movie but it has one redeeming quality: I now want to watch Face-Punch.

                        It is much cooler today (thank fuck) I parked up in the side street I do near work and started the 5 minute walk to the office. The wind was pleasant, ruffling my hair and blasting at my face, cool, relaxing, pleasant. The smell of the wet grass from the rain we had last night fills the nostrils with a pleasant aroma. It is 18C, much pleasanter than the 31 we had on Saturday. Now I am contemplating refilling my pint mug with a nice cup of tea and settlign down to doing some work.

                          Well I had a very surprising weekend. I was whisked away on a private plane to Las Vegas and treated to a very sumptuous dinner (OMG the seafood at the AquaKnox!!) and went to see O (Cirque du Soleil at the Bellagio). A Swedish friend was on vacation and just showed up on my doorstep. Oh what a sight to see too! I was in my pj's, hadn't even brushed my hair, and looked like death warmed over! lol He tells me to pack an overnight bag and get dressed...you have an hour. I was kind of pissed off to be honest because I don't like last minute things to do but I have to say it was one of the best times I've ever had....but he has a rather over the top personality so its hard not to have fun with him! lol

                          And thank goodness today's weather is so much more tolerable too! The past few weeks here have been so warm and dew points in the 70's, it felt like we were in the Amazon!
