Re: Official bored at work / just shooting the shit / no rails to derail thread
Neither do I Aksannyi, but Office Space is different. Office Space is kind of like Harold and Kumar go to White Castle, but not as silly, and does not have Neil Patrick Harris.
Speaking of NPS, has anyone seen Doctor Horrible's Sing along Blog? I was flipping through Netflix this weekend and decided to see what is was like. I hate musical's so the whole sing along thing had me a little worried. However recently I had seen an episode of How I Met Your Mother that had a singing number at the end and it wasn't bad.
Anyways, the story is about Dr Horrible doing a video blog of current events in his life. FYI Dr Horrible is best described as an evil villain(shocker). His love interest during the show is Felicia Day from The Guild. Then there is the hero Captain Hammer played by none other than Nathan Fillion. You may have seen him in Firefly/Serenity. Dr. Horrible has a friend/side kick named Moist played by "Walawitz" (sp?) from The Big Bang Theory.
So there was lots of singing, an inevitable love triangle, and a decent plot. All in all I would recommend it if you liked The Guild. The singing was actually pretty good, all three main characters could carry a tune, and the lyrics were decent.
