        Speaking of VHS, I really hate disney for their limited releases on 90s animated movies. I missed the boat on Aladdin when it came out on DVD because I was poor. I only have the VHS copy. I guess that's what ebay is for.

            How was Alice in Wonderland? I wanted to check that out next. Is it in IMAX 3d or just regular 3d?

              It is in IMAX 3-D and RealD 3-D(Which is similar to IMAX 3-D, but on a smaller screen and minus the epic speaker wattage.)

              Movie was actually pretty good and Depp as Mad Hatter was a obvious choice lol. Special effects were good and 3D was even better. I wanted to see it in IMAX but as I figured, the IMAX was sold out all weekend.

              I ended up seeing it in RealD at the local theater and it would've been great if the girl next to me and her friends weren't whispering/texting during the whole movie. I ended up saying something to the girl next to me who kept whipping out her cell blinding me lol.

                Show them how strong your pimp hand is. There was this chick sitting next to me in a movie that kept whipping out her cell phone the whole movie, I elbowed the bitch in the face and broke her nose.


                (not really, but anyone on cell phones in theatres deserve it)

                  Relax, Disney doesn't know the meaning of limited release. Disney's limited release is 'it'll be back in a few years with one more special feature so you can buy this movie yet again because you think it must be something special because we don't have continuous releases.'

                    The Alice movie felt like it was pulling a lot of punches. It felt like it had been designed from the ground up to be distinctly darker than the old Disney cartoon version, but somewhere along the line the corporate overlords demanded that it be diluted so they could scrape by with a PG rating to draw in kids as well as adults.
                    The PG rating was really toeing the line given a few select scenes. They should have just gone in full tilt and made it strictly as a movie for adult audiences.

                    Still a good film, but there's a lot of wasted potential.

                      I mean seriously, I'm ok if you take a call and get off right quick, or text 1-2 times and stop. However, this chick whipped her phone out at least 10 times and had it out for a total of about 25 mins of the movie. Eventually I said "Excuse me, but would you please stop doing that! It is incredibly annoying!" She put the phone up so quick lol. Her and her friends she was sitting with were about 15-16, I mean seriously if you're going to text during the whole movie and not even watch it, why go?

                      I agree, if they would've reached for the PG-13 they could've made it really different but still good. Depp could've been even crazier than he was.
