      Never seen the Cowboy Bebop anime, just the movie, but when most people say 'best ever' or 'everything else pales in comparison' and the like it pretty much never lives up to that for most other people. It just happened to become one of their favorites.

          I'm not saying it's the best ever, but it's definitely one of the best, and deserves to be watched. The animation is great, the music is great, the story is great, the characters are great, the world is great. You really get the sense, watching it, that they made everything as good as they could imagine it being. It's not like NGE where you either love it or hate it, I haven't seen anyone who's seen it and not enjoyed it.

            I don't think I've ever found something I could label as "best ever".

            Bebop was fun. It was an enjoyable ride that fluidly transitioned between the comedic and something more serious without becoming pretentious like a lot of anime out there. It probably helped that the art style didn't look like something stamped out of an anime assembly line.

            I really don't know how to describe it other than "a lot of fun". There wasn't a single episode where I didn't find something to enjoy.

                A cheese curd tastes like cheese, since that is exactly what it is. Poutine however, is an abomination before god and man.

                              So everyone is balls to the wall about FFXIII today. For whatever reason, I am NOT really anticipating FFXIII. When I get home tonight, I will most likely continue my save of Chrono Cross, and then play through FFT again.

                                It's ok, some of us are still buying cassettes.

                                The FF franchise in general has ceased to be compelling lately. I just don't see anything being released that really interests me.
