This x2. I watched Lagann-Hen last night and realized that they changed alot of scenes from the original Anime but it still held on to its epic manliness and coolness.

Note: OVER 2000 POSTS! I need to retire.

I'll be watching Gurren-Hen when I cycle through my unwatched anime again.

Just finished watching the anime Major which is a pretty interesting and addictive Baseball anime. Watched all 5 seasons of it and am debating on whether to watch the movie which shows what happens between the end of season 1 and the beginning of season two. Since the anime somewhat touched on what happened in the movie, there is almost no need to watch it imo. Season 6 of Major will start this April and I already can't wait for it.

Also recently finished watching Mobile Suit Gundam, Gundam ZZ, Char's Counterattack, and Stardust Memory. After I get around to watching Victory Gundam, I think I will have seen every main Gundam series. So whenever Gundam: Unicorn comes out, I will be prepared.

Mostly just popping in for a /wave and a breath of fresh air.

Things have been completely hectic with this quarter, but getting mostly A's and loving the challenge. This stuff is kinda difficult, but it's difficult in a way that feels good to me, it's kinda hard to describe almost. it's like stretching or exercising my mind in a way that is hard, but feels good and natural at the same time. Almost like how it felt to stretch out my elbow and get my full range of motion back after I had fractured it and had my elbow in a cast for a couple of months or however long it was.

Still, it's pretty dang hectic over here though. I almost feel like I'm drowning and that my teacher, Curt, is holding me under!

Assuming I survive it all, and I will, this'll be my last quarter at GRCC and I'll be walking out of here with a Dispatcher's license (working on studying for the written and practical tests) and my ATC degree in my hot little hands. Oh, and I'll be an official licensed weather observer too! Then I get to apply to ATC-CTI job postings and hope I get picked up for the FAA academy in Oklahoma!

Exciting times to be had, that's for sure.

Kinda thinking about quitting FFXI for a bit, if not for good, though. I haven't been playing it this quarter, and I just have the feeling that I'm going to really need to devote myself to ATC if that is what I want to do, and that FFXI might be too much of a distraction. I'm not sure what I'll do yet, but I think I am leaning towards quitting. Which is a bit of a shame. While I have my issues with the game, I still really enjoy it, enjoy the friends I've made, I absolutely love my Limbus shell and the people in it. But still, it takes alot of time to do events and it's hard to say no to an event.

Too, lately I've been thinking of a scene from a movie called Eric the Viking, in it, a woman is asking him about why he raids, dialogue goes something like this:

Woman: So, why do you raid?
Eric: To get gold!
Woman: What do you need the gold for?
Eric: Why, to go on raids of course!


Just swap gold for gear in FF. Not saying it's bad mind you, just.... I suppose feeling that I'm more of a casual player and that FFXI does not have much in the way of casual gaming activities and that it might not be the game for me anymore.

Anywho, back to the studying for me! Gotta study more stuff on present weather reporting, dispatch stuff, and really ought to look at nonradar procedures again. I have a feeling that Curt is going to give us a radar excercise, then turn off our screens mid excercise and make us do nonradar.

Then he'll laugh (more evil chuckle) evilly. If he had a mustache he'd twirl it too.

Just work ATC in San Diego. (Save last week,) it's 70 degrees and sunny here everyday! With the economy the way it is, you know a good way broadcasting companies could save some dough? Fire all the meteorologists, they aren't needed!

I can't believe I never noticed this thread before. the title alone personifies me. I work for the airlines... and i'm basically strapped to my desk all day until someone wants to feed me or let me out for walkies. Although I have a computer for all of my work-related stuffs, the wonderful people at our tech center track just about everything we do. As a result, I'm limited to what few websites I have been able to dredge up that still work from my desk. This was one of them.

So without further a-doo-doo.
