Some ho-bag just made my job a whole lot harder by entering the information onto the spreadsheet forms wrong. Rather then fill them out properly, he just went and manually changed all the total points, so now I can't tell what the original scores were, and what is addendum credit.

The bitch I hate (see a few pages ago or the RL pet peeve thread if you're confused) went home early today because she was sick.

Sweet, sweet silence at work today. Or at least the absence of her fucking singing. It was beautiful.

I think she is about to be fired. No one likes her, not even the supervisors, one of whom came in and said to me, "I can't help but notice how quiet it is in here today," and another one who said, "I'm tired of her childish shit."

Yeah, today was a long day because I had twice the work, but it was a good one regardless. I hope she's still sick tomorrow, tbh.

I need to stop posting online when I'm super pissed off at work.. I think it's making me out to be a bad, bitchy person

Because today, I FKN lost it when one of my customer's called me and told me they were getting additional charges for their drug tests they were performing and come to find out, their sales rep set them up with a contract that FKN charged them extra when they use an out of network clinic. The only problem was, there's NO FKN INNETWORK CLINICS FOR 50 MILES.

The pricing he gave them was to use 1 certain standard kind of clinic that is nationwide... and the client lives in Lacrosse, KS. According to my client, about the only thing in that town is a broken down gas station, a bar, and a church across the street from the bar. But the clinic is located in most major metropolitan areas.

I swear it seemed to me he was trying to knife his commission from the company under the table. That burned me up so much because if there's anything I can't stand, its fat greedy people that use customer service as an excuse to charge you whatever they want and put you thru bloody hell. lol

I always take my client's side when they have problems. I knwo what its like to be a consumer and I work in a call center enviornment. I can't tell you how many times the electric company tried to charge me $50 because "the padlock was missing from the switchbox" when I have 12 y/o ganster children living next door that like to dismantle people's air conditioners.

Callcenters are the trash of techsupport jobs, incase anyone had any remaining doubts.

My supervisor wants me to skip details and hurry the calls, try to fool the customer into thinking they're being helped so the situation can generate more calls without being too obvious, more calls = more income .

Quality control wants me to be nice and caring to the customers and fix their problems no matter what.

My supervisor tells me to do what QC tells me to.

I get confused.

I get bad reviews from QC.

My supervisor wants to see me in her office.

I swear I'm gonna snap at her eventually that cheap cologne eurotrash woo-girl who thinks shes all that.

Every night, in my dreams I scheme about a great way to ruin her life somehow, and then quit the job and tell QC their little dump of an office is the most degrading place I have ever worked on.

And I've worked in an office that leaked when it rained and the walls were black with mold once.

I seriously love my job. The work is mundane but the people in my department more than make up for that, with the exception of that one bitch, who I am fairly certain will not be working very much longer.

And yeah, that supervisor who said that is pretty awesome. She's former Army just like me and we all call her grandma. She's from somewhere in Central America, can't remember where, but we speak Spanish every once in a while since I'm trying to continue to learn it. The other supervisor is the one above her, and I don't talk to him as much. He's more of a hardass but is really a pretty cool guy most of the time, even when shit hits the fan.

Some stuff:

- Train was late today. Some wires that powered the train got tangled up and we were stuck just 2 minutes shy of the station terminal for 45 minutes.

- Some coworkers the next aisle over are saying stuff about "saying the Lord's name in vain". Now I'm interested...

- Movies I want to watch (though I might have to wait as long as a year for 2 of them): Precious, If You Are the One, Departures, Phobia 2 (my avatar is from a poster of a segment of it called "Backpackers"),Dear Galileo...

- You guys were talking about anime a few days back. It's out of print now, but if you manage to watch it, or read the manga, a good one I just remembered is a 1980's one called Maison Ikkoku.

- FFXI-related: The Union lotting system is rigged against me. I've only won 1 Tukuku Whiteshell in the last 2 weeks. Oh, and watching a PLD/DNC try to solo a mob is like watching paint dry while being stabbed with a sewing needle.

Rumiko Takahashi has been decent, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Today's adventure: Installing and configuring DNS on Windows Server 2003 without any idea what I'm doing. Thankfully I only have to do this on a virtual machine so I can break it as many times as needed.

Rumiko Takahashi has been decent, I'll keep an eye out for it.

Yeah, back when I was bigger anime/manga fan, Rumiko Takahashi was always a favorite of mine. I've read Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2, and InuYasha. She apparently has another long series in the works, but taking a quick glance at it, it looks like it isn't going to be a great one. I don't even hate InuYasha like a lot of people, but it's too long for what it is. Maison Ikkoku is still her best long series.

I have a date tonight taking my GF out to Korean BBQ tonight. I'm sooooo hungry for Korean BBQ, it's the best. AND, it's her first time ever having it. It's exciting. Not only is Korean BBQ an explosion of delicios flavors in your mouth, I like it because it's more ofan event. You don't just sit down order eat and leave, there's so much more to it. The 8 differnet kinds of kimchi, the 4 different kinds of dipping sauces, the lettuce, the rice, the beef (bulgogi) and pork (galbi.) Mmmmm... LOVE IT!

Oh the joys of waiting for Active Directory to install while hoping I haven't botched it this time around.

Anyone else use thesixtyone - a music adventure It's a decent music site. I prefer Pandora's simplification of the task of finding new music but I've found some pretty good stuff on thesixtyone.
