                I was advised accepting the option to go to magistrates court as even though i have done emergency vehicle driving, I am not an emergency service person anymore and no matter what I should drive to the road speeds etc. i am not above the law yadda yadda etc etc. If I lsot I would get the points, have to pay court costs and have an insurance hike......

                basically The law has screwed me royally.

                        PS > Yeah I'm still intrigued about why exactly they call the sport Football in the first place.

                        But then again the US is still using using the Imperial system, so I guess that's just the way they are.

                          It was just derived from rugby and they changed the rules a bit so instead of punting the ball and being able to run with it, you just run with it most the time. But it still of course keeps the punt and the kick offs so it can still be called football lol.
