    Ouch! Doesn't the website sell replacement USB cables? I think that'd be easier than soldering, especially if the wires are teeny tiny. (BTW I fail at soldering, unless the wires are big enough size LOL.)

    That's still better than what I was doing before I got the tablet lol. I did have a wireless mouse for my laptop, but I stopped using it. I think it was mainly because I was always knocking it on the floor which caused the batteries to pop out. After awhile I just started only using the trackpad on the laptop which recently started causing my hands to cramp sometimes ("Is that you Arthritis?" "Nope, its me... Carpal Tunnel(Thx YM).") It is not real hard to use the trackpad but it is sometimes annoying when you accidently double-tap and click something you weren't trying to. I've tried turning that feature of, but it keeps turning itself back on when I restart for some reason . I got to use it for about 3 hours yesterday and I really really like it. I can't wait to get home to day to use it a bit more. Now if only I can figure out why I fail so badly at the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator...

              These might be old, but I saw the Slam Chop one on TV, as in it is actually a real commercial lol. I wouldn't be surprised if the Jam Wow one was too. The sad thing is that I think the remix actually made both products better.

                Ok, going to vent here because hubby is tired of listening to me and my bff is in the hospital so they've got enough on their mind. Well my mother had pneumonia in the middle of summer and the day I was dreading was closing in. It was very bad and we got her to pull out of her funk by reminding her that one of her treasured grandsons was getting married and he was counting on her to be there. So she recovered and my sisters went back to sticking their heads in the sand and not listening to me about her health. Sometimes is f'in sucks to be the only educated person in the family because when they need your brain, its all good but when they'd rather not know the reality of things, then you're a nuisance.

                Well I made her get a cat scan when we got back from the wedding and the results were supposed to be sent to me but for some reason they sent them to my mother. Well I called her and had to berate her into reading the damn letter to me because she's so damn stubborn. ("Oh I'm fine now it doesn't matter." "It said I'm fine and to have another scan in 3 months" "Oh it says I'M OLD!! But we already know that so lets not bother.") Well she has a mass (possible tumor or enlarged gland) and COPD. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is emphysema. So after I was done talking to her, I call my sisters and try to get them to understand that they need to help now with her care, appointments, making food for her, etc. Ya...that went over like a fart in church. You know.....I REALLY REALLY got the short end of the stick when it came to families. I'm the youngest of all the kids AND I'm sick, yet I have had the majority of the responsibility thrust on me.........and not only for my mother but for my aunt also. (Her 39 yr old daughter that STILL LIVES AT HOME just can't handle helping her out with personal things like doctors appointments, getting her meds, clipping her toenails, etc)

                You know...I'm starting to believe that this really is hell.... /sigh

                    Wow TGM, sorry to hear all that. I would say maybe you guys need to talk and get hired care, but I seriously doubt that'll go by smoothly with how you're describing the situation already.

                          We went through a similar situation with my grandmother. My mother is the youngest of my grandma's children, and when my grandma had to go to the nursing home, my mom got like 0 support from her siblings. She was pretty much the only one going out to the home to see her while her brother and sister basically just went about their way. Before grandma went to the nursing home, my mother had a hired nurse going to see her at her house, and the hired nurse just loved my grandma. Eventually my aunt retired from her job and she stopped helping my mom pay the nurse to come out. Eventually when my grandma ended up in the nursing home, the nurse still went out to see her on occasion, and if nobody there could get her to eat, Rhoda definently could. I really hated that it went down that way, because it drove a wedge in between my mom and her siblings. They didn't really runite until after my grandma passed away back in 2007.

                              It's very sad and depressing hearing stories like that.


                              And I know I shouldn't be saying this (specially right now), but in my case I'll more than likely take the exit the moment I see I can't take care of myself.

                              Recently saw this quote:

                              And that pretty much sums it all.

                              So while I wont fall in my prime (hopefully) I definitely have no intention of sticking around long enough to end up depending on hired nurses or at a nursing home. Unless I can afford it and it doesn't inconvenience anyone (specially myself) that is.

                                I'll probly die young.. I take care of my self very well, but I speed through traffic on my bike. I talk trash to people who stare at me(Lol.. I got a pet peeve about being stared at)and I could do that to the wrong person and then I got 6 caps to the chest... I cage fight and even though it's not as dangerous as boxing, anything can happen. All it takes is a kick to the head and I am pushing daisies. There's so much more I do that could send me to the ICU, but I am not going to name all of them lol.

                                After my bestfriend passed, I kinda just live life on the edge now and I should probly stop since I have a baby boy and another one on the way lol.
