Hahaha. I just imaged AVALANCHE getting back together to bomb the shit out of McDonalds, KFC and BK for making half of Midgar fat to the point that they can't survive even the easiest random battles any more. "This guy are sick" and all that.

That might not be such a bad game after all. They could even milk it for more money by making Ronald, Sanders and the King the next set of Sephiroth incarnations.

Sigh, didn't get selected for another job I interviewed for. Haven't had much of a desire to log on to the game much anyway, just maybe once to do an obligatory Campaign so I don't lose my medal. But yesterday I canceled my content ID so I'm going to be taking a break for a month or so while I look for a different job and practice for the GRE so I can get into grad school for the spring.

Also my body hurts as if a train had ran me over (if there was a body left after that, that is), but on the plus side I got to play Futbol* for real again after who knows how much time.




The good: My skill actually went up even after all these years without playing, probably because I'm older and know how to control my body better now. Also was able to see a lot of stuff happening on the field that I used to miss back in the day. AND was able to do Rivaul's turn** to the amazement of people watching.

The bad: Thanks to my otaku life style in recent years my body lacked the condition and strength to pull most the cool stuff I used to do back in high school. So even though I somehow managed to score my shot was so bad it was a miracle it didn't just go flying somewhere else. orz

The ugly: I really feel like a 60 year old right now. While it is true it was my own decision to become an otaku wannabe I don't ever remember having the condition of a grandpa being part of the deal.

Birthday was Sunday and I got a Graphic Tablet from my parents. Yesterday was the first real day I got a chance to use it, and OMFG it is awesome!!!! I can't really draw worth a damn much anymore, but it made using the pen too even easier and faster than it was before, and I didn't think that was even possible. So I started killing time by tracing (Re-Cging and Vectoring) a picture of Rau Le Creuset from Gundam Seed, before I went to bed, I was almost done with it, and it took way less time than it usually would've taken. I'll have more time to play with it over the holiday since I'm taking off Friday and Tuesday so I can have a 5 day weekend.

What happened to it?

I need to figure out how to use the control button thingy so that I can bind some hotkeys to it. I think the keybinds I'd need the most are "Undo" and "Step Backward" I don't know how many times I've accidently made a point with the pen tool that I needed to take back.

USB cable got corroded. I've been told I could just chop it, chop off a good USB cable from something else and solder the ends together.

I don't think I could ever be comfortable with the notion of drawing on my monitor though.
