              I just sifted through 160 pages of job postings, and found 1(one) single one that wasn't either a garbage temp job or a 2 hour drive from my apartment. First reasonable posting I've found in 3 weeks. I went to submit my resume, and I guess NoScript blocked some part of CareerBuilder that it shouldn't have, as when I hit the 'include Cover Letter' option, instead of it giving me the option to edit the cover letter like it usually does, it sent this:

              as my fucking cover letter. So the first decent posting in nearly a month, and I made myself look like a fucking idiot and ruled myself out for the job before I even got myself considered for it.

              I think at this point I'm ready to just dump my g/f, move back in with my mom, and go back to waiting tables.

                Well, they won't read anything past the first line, so you could probably submit your resume again and no one would notice.

                Allow careerbuilder in future though BEFORE applying for jobs.

                    Though, in all seriousness, getting a job is a pain in the ass these days. I can't imagine how much it must suck to screw up a job opportunity in today's economy.

                        Thinking of using a new avatar.... Not sure quite yet what I want to use. There's a nice one of Tifa I could use, but I'm just not sure yet. I have yet to see one that really feels "right" although there is one that is really good.

                              RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah, I filed my taxes last thursday and to my surprise the IRS had Direct Deposited my gil into my checking account. Swing over to Newegg to grab my new PSU and a 295GTX...PSU is in stock but my 295GTX is nawt . Tiger Direct has it, but they don't sell the 295GTX separate, you have to buy it in a bundle with a Ultra X3 1600W Power Supply.
