Don't kid about living in the third world. It's like Dynamis around here.
I like my country, specially my small town (though we're still stuck with dial-up for more one or two years) but developing countries aren't really great for gamers. Specially if you are a general consumerist and/or likes to get everything at launch date (not saying it's anyone's case).

Whoah I stop checking the site for a bit and everyone turns into a Palinite.

Seriously, McCain simply destroyed his chances the moment he stopped being the "Maverick" *beer-shot* he used to be and decided to go with the GOP political machine.

He then proceeded to pick Palin as his VP. I don't know who was advising him or how they coerced him into doing the things he did with his campaign, but that lack of judgement and honesty were his doom.

In other words he made the exact same mistake Clinton did and didn't even have the ability to learn from her mistakes to begin with (which casts doubt about him being able to learn from Bush's mistakes should he became president). Had he simply sticked to his past principles and picked another VP (I still say Clinton would've worked wonders for him) the race would've been very different today.

Too bad I can't vote there, it would've been awesome camping outside the polls like I was camping to buy the new must-have game.

It's not rolling back the Bush cuts that's socialist, it's the concept of a progressive income tax.


Just ignore the fact that McCain, as well as pretty much every sane Republican and politician in the country, supports that too.

Personally, I just find the whole 'SOCIALIST!' thing hilarious, considering Palin actually governs a state which takes money from the rich (oil companies) and sends people checks for thousands of dollars. ($3,200 this year, although $1,200 of that was a 'one time Alaska Resource Rebate')


But the point was never to get people that care about the issues, it's just to get the fear machine going on every possible angle (Muslim! Communist! Terrorist! Radical! Not a citizen! Black! Angry! Untested! Disrespectful!) and hope that you scare enough people away.
