Venon is an alien symbiote creature attached to Eddie Brock. Peter Parker was the one to "wear" and for that time he was black spider-man. He later made a costume with that design and used ocasionally until Venom showed up and gave Mary Jane a big psychological scar.

No he meant the character from the little-known 70's comic The Amazing Black Spiderman, was another one of those old blaxploitation deals. Was similar to normal Spiderman, but he was black with an afro.

wow, this is amazing, across the entire expanse of the internet I cannot find a single picture of a black guy dressed as Spiderman. I assumed there'd be at least a few floating out there in easy to find places.

I think I have that whole series on my hard drive, I just wish it was better quality that it is. He was so "Juggernaut" with that suit on. I remember the episode when he picked up rhino with one hand, stuck his horn in the ground, and spun him like a top. I kinda like the series that is out now, but it isn't as good as the 94 series. I even remember that futuristic Spider-man cartoon, I think that was Spider-Man Unlimited or something like that.
