so I just spent the past hour and a half digging around for a receipt. and I FOUND IT!


Now I just have to check very clearly and make sure it's still valid for a refund.

Same here. Well, I did go to see my parents a couple months ago and they offered to babysit mine while the wife and I went to see Indiana Jones.

You finally get to go out and you go see INDIANA JONES!!? /comfort

There's only a handful of people I'd trust with my kids and they're all too wrapped up in their own problems to sack an evening so that I can see a movie.

When my kids were little, no one but family watched them. That said, my family is a bunch of assholes and they would only watch them if there was an emergency. One time I needed to go in the hospital so I figured this is one of those emergency situations. WRONG! I had to beg and plead and call the doctor to get an estimation of how long I'd be in..... The doctor wasn't much help either. "Well, we'll try a course of antibiotics but if that doesn't work then we might have to do something more invasive. I really can't say it could be 2 days or it could be a week." I did eventually get my mother to take the kids but only after begging, pleading, sobbing, and finally screaming at her.

Then there was the time my "trusted family member" decided to teach my son a lesson about touching the stove by turning on the burner and putting his hand on it.....

We didn't go out much either TM.

Yes, it was a she...which just made it even more shocking. Thank god, to this day, she hasn't reproduced. Yep, I only trusted family members with my kids and now that I can look back on it, they might have been better off with strangers.

EDIT before your impending edit: Grey is too normal because I've known a few people who actually have grey eyes. Never known anyone to have purple eyes, though.
