Last night was bizarre.

Well, first, had one hell of a rude awakening. My bed is a futon (as in, a bed that turns into a couch), and thus has much smaller footing than a normal bed would. It is rather unstable. Apparently this morning I rolled too close to the side, causing the entire thing to tip over; me on it. Besides just being a crappy way to wake up, this also ripped the faceplate off of a nearby electrical outlet. One more thing I'm going to have to replace.

Anyway, also had a crazy-ass dream. Earliest thing I remember was being in a library. I'm carrying a newspaper (USA Today, actually), and start looking around. Something bad happens, we wind up being stuck there for a long time, some military dudes come in to say "It's ok now", and shake left-handed for some reason. We debate about looking around at books more, but decide to leave so that they won't think we were stealing things. Next thing I remember is being in a huge house (three floors, basement; big enough to get lost in. strangely, I've dreamed of this house before), and then next thing after that is my uncle saying something about scaring me, and being in some log-cabiny type place.

I turn around to leave, hear a voice, turn around and one of the walls is completely missing missing. There's some dude standing there in (admittedly pretty good) vampire makeup, going through fairly cheesy lines. We act out some kind of fight (in the same way you might sarcastically argue something with a friend), going out onto some kind of porch, until I notice some sound behind me. I turn to see what it is, and there's some weird cartoonish skeleton thing on a projector. I turn back around with a 'wtf' expression, the vampire COMPLETELY breaks character (including his voice) and shouts something along the lines of "(Name)! Would you turn that thing off, please!", to which some woman sitting in a truck replies "Sorry!".

The Vampire turns back to me, in a "Now, what were we doing?" sort of manner, and then I hear someone blowing a whistle, and this woman comes up in a bright yellow vest, saying something along the lines of "If there was a problem with it, (Feba) could've said something!", (my real name, but eh) chastising him for breaking character. For some reason (presumably, a few minutes later) there's a rose, vampire dude gives it to me, bitchy lady starts chastising him for something else, he takes it back, we take a photo, I'm given the rose and jokingly act feminine, people laugh, we walk around some.

Next thing I remember after that, I'm in some giant mall which has inexplicably merged with the aforementioned house, walking around with the vampire's actor (now out of makeup, in street clothes, etc), take him to what is apparently my room (more like a small shop at the mall), sit down at my computer to check some things, get up, walk around some more, next thing I remember I'm back at my computer (which is now at just a kiosk. And also runs the server software for some shopping program or something), check something else; some music starts blasting, I try to turn it off, after awhile trying to sort it out some girl comes up and says the mall's manager wants to speak with me, I ask if it can wait, she says yes. Next thing I remember after that, me and VAD are following some group of girls to another section of the mall (which I am also pretty I have had dreams about before at this point), for some reason we all start running, and run through a catwalk type area that connects the two sections, while some security guard sitting at a nearby desk talked on a phone.

I don't remember anything after that.

You know what Feba, reminds me of the bizzaar dream sequence from BTVS episode "Restless" (last one of Season 4, yeah I'm a Buffy fan, well Willow really )

I'm not good at translating dreams, but the vampire i.e. an outcast and the running from nothing thing could be a phycological dream about your choice of solidarity and the fact that you do not feel comfortable unless you are at home, hence the strange happens and the constant changing venues that are not your home.

I have had some of my own dreams analysed before and what i do know is that if you are dreaming yourself runnign away from somthing and you don't know what you are runnign away from. It means you are runnign away from yourself, or rather you are keeping on putting something / some task / some person etc. you have to do or action back as your afraid of what may happen.

It wasn't running FROM something; it was more running as a race.

For some reason, randomly starting races with groups of girls in public places (airports, train stations, now malls apparently) is a recurring element in my dreams.

The vampire was acting. It was an actor. Like those haunted house places. And he broke character. Multiple times. And later went with me to Mallhomething.

The idea that dreams "mean" something is silly. I mean, on some VERY SIMPLE levels, of course-- if you have a wet dream about a coworker, that's not exactly subtle. Anything less specific than that, though, is pretty much meaningless, unless you TELL YOURSELF that dreams about that mean that; and then you're only REALLY saying "Hey, me, dream about this."-- it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I had a long post about how that dream could be interpreted as another sign of Gehenna because of the Vampire reference and stuff... but nah, that's impossible.









*Gehenna : When Feba would leave his hikikomori retirement to destroy the world after turning into a giant mechanical Teddy Bear like the ones you see in anime.

It wasn't running FROM something; it was more running as a race.
For some reason, randomly starting races with groups of girls in public places (airports, train stations, now malls apparently) is a recurring element in my dreams.

Does the race finish? As it could be something or someone you are competing with but are too afraid to go all the way. You then need to try and end the race to overcome it? (thats what my GF suggests as she is into these dream decipher things)

Anyway, I had another crazy dream tonight. Shame it's so disjointed, it could've been more like three or four dreams. Don't remember enough of it to write anything near a coherent post on it, though. Need to get back to LDing, that makes them so much easier to track most of the time.

two hours left til my store closes. Ii've never been so bored. I had one customer in the past 4 hours. Can't access most websites either due to content blocks. -_-; On the note of strange dreams, I had a weird dream about work and how all of my friends from XI and school were employed there, and how we turned every day hardware supplies into weapons and rebelled against the manager....

Fuck...I keep trying to put concerted effort into getting work done, but shit keeps happening to make it even easier to slack off while pretending to work. Now our system is broken in a way that would logically add lots of time to my work, a person outside of our company is ignoring my requests for info that would possibly cut alot of time off, and my boss' boss' position is now vacant, lol.

That and there's lots of good threads on the forums I frequent today. >.>
