    It wasn't really an all-nighter. It was more of an all-day-and-then-wait-wtf-when-did-3AM-happen-oh-well-wait-now-it's-six-duuuuude.


    I'm pretty sure I've never played a video game for over 20 hours in a single sitting before. Certainly not on my first time playing it. Thanks a lot, P3F

      Oh I've done that move, lol. Actually the very first night I installed FFXI, I was in 'OMFG THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER' mode for about 23 hours, and played up until 10 minutes before I had to leave for work.

        I did that when I got Refresh. I remember the 20 hour exp stretch from 37-42.

        Most of it was on the bats in Gustav. After that, I slept for the rest of the weekend.

          I think I topped out around 16 or 17 hours in FFXI. I'd play from the moment I got up to the moment I went to sleep; but I wouldn't stretch that out.

            When I was unemployed with loads of free pot it was pretty bad, easily 20-23 hour sessions with only bathroom/food/smoke breaks. Glad I got past that phase, but in terms of character progression that was a hell of a month or two.

                    My kids still remember the when FF4 came out here. I sat for 2 days straight playing. Well not actually but as much as humanly possible. I still had kids to get up in the morning and then drive them to school. Of course, there were no gourmet breakfasts though. I plunked a box of cold cereal and a gallon of milk on the table and said "EAT!" and then went back to the game. LOL One of the days I left the milk on the table all day and my husband came home and screamed. LOLOLOL Of course, I didn't do suppers those days either which also enraged him. He plays FFXI now but back in the day he was a non-gamer. I warned him........he just didn't understand that I was serious I guess! LOL

                    I'll still do that with FF games if they really suck me in. FFXI was 36 hours of OMG I'M IN LOVE!
