Sorbet = Sherbet, last time I checked. I mean, minor differences in the processes that make them, but still essentially the same end result.

Sorbet = no dairy
Sherbet = A bit of dairy

It completely changes the flavor and texture? It's not just "my preference." I like both. But they are completely different products. That's like me saying "Man, I really enjoy iced tea" and you're like "Soda is clearly superior."

Iced tea tastes like someone tried to increase the volume of the water they had by adding dirt into it. And because it was the south, it caught on.

Actually, that could explain why they used cocaine in soft drinks. If I were in Georgia and I couldn't get myself drunk off my ass, I'd need something to get me out of my mind.

I love vanilla but my absolute favorite custard (from Kopp's) is called Butter Almond which they very rarely make. The custard is very creamy and has a buttery vanilla taste. Then there are whole salted almonds in it. The problem is I had 90% of my stomach removed a while back so now sugar and fat hits me HARD. Too much of either gives me a tummy ache and makes me fall asleep. I also don't tolerate milk products anymore so eating custard is a HUGE no-no! Sure enough, went to the mall 2 weeks ago and as I got off the expressway I saw a Kopp's and the flavor of the day was Butter Almond. So I went home, had hubby drive me there around 7:30pm and I about 1/3 of a scoop of it. So I got in the back seat, got sick to my stomach, and then I passed out. Don't remember much after that but I came home and crawled into bed and slept until the next day.

I can't do frozen custard when it's really hot out. But other times of the year, I'm all over it.
