What's the best way to tell your boss that you need to leave early because there's a big update that you need to start downloading? I'm debating being honest and just saying, "Look, either you let me go home now and don't pay me, or I sit at my desk getting paid to F5 BG and do no work all day."

Think that'll work?

I need to keep it for roughly 2 more months at least, enough time to max out my insurance allowances and use all my vacation. Then the job-hunting begins.

While the above statement is made of win, I found nifty ways to take advantage of work-

-I print out the guides from GameFAQs using work paper/toner
-I use the bathroom at work to save money on toilet paper in my apartment
-I catch up on Obama news so that I can actually do HW when I get home
-I highly take advantage of the free coffee
-I get a couple of cups of dry cereal from the student-cafe and use office milk (deliveries every monday!)

Then there are times I actually Do work. I just use my MP3 player for that.

This job is OK. Not as good as my last summer job ($15/hr and I spent the majority of my time on Facebook and Blogger ; ; ), but I'm getting free school housing, free meal plan and a free course.

Well I mean I use the bathroom in my apartment on the weekends! But I timed my cycle to hit around 11-1130am.

That way, I can play PSP in the bathroom for like 30ish minutes, then go take lunch for an hour afterwards. I also bring back food from the cafe and eat at my desk anywhere from 15-25 additional minutes.
