I refuse to give up caffeine. I gave up soda, which was an unhealthy source of it, but I will not give up coffee. I won't go for coffee beverages anymore, and I don't drink anything with whipped cream or caramel syrup in it, but damn it, I'm not giving up regular coffee.

Coffee is such a wonderful thing.

The free coffee at work sucks complete ass, I'm this close to getting a small coffee maker for my desk.

If nothing else, a french press. I know I've considered it in the past. But luckily I've always worked within convenient walking distance to somewhere where the coffee is not terrible.

Our free coffee is actually pretty good, and stupidly potent. The main issue is I get all kinds of loaded up on it, the go home and have a Coke or two with dinner, and then I'm up til 1am, then passing out at work the next day like I did today, lol.

I don't do public gyms anymore. Working out in close proximity to strangers always weirded me out, even more so now that I've gotten very out of shape and would struggle to bench press my own weight.

I don't know if its just me, but going to a public gym is a motivator for me, granted I can only do cardio due to my spine, but I suppose I am outgoing and do talk to people of all ages while exercising and checking out some fit birds who are exercising near. The gym i goto also has a hydrotherapy pool which is a godsend for me after a session.

Its not jsut getting fit, its kind of a social thing for me as well.

I drink too much tea but it has half the caffine of coffee of which i can't stand so maybe thats a good thing? I never drink soft drinks (soda), its only rare when I do and thats normally at a restaurant if they don't have any J2O. I also havn;t had a fast food restaurant meal for 3 years now.

Try cutting out the coke with dinner and have water instead, even add a slice or 2 of lemon in the water to make it taste different or add sugar free cordials to it. also try and have a target time to not drink cofffee or coke after i.e. no caffine drinks after 7pm. You might sleep better.

Yeah, try cutting out the Coke. Less sugar, less caffeine late like that. Should help.

Caffeine doesn't really keep me up anymore, though it does help with my mornings. So I guess it does something. Then again, I don't drink it late. Who knows!

Went to the new gym again today. I like that they have laundry service, and you get your own personal locker, and stuff. But I don't like the swimsuits are not mandatory in the pool rule.

Anyway, caffeine only really helps me to get rid of headaches. Never been very good at keeping me up or waking me up; about the only exceptions would be intentionally consuming far more than normal to stay up (popping a bunch of Bawls mints to stay awake at school another couple hours; but I pretty much have to be taking them all day for that.)

Theres the problem murphy, go to a mixed club, and notice the improvement in motivation. I'm not one for single sex clubs, especially when in the sauna in the changing room where you can go eau natural, King dong comes in and puts us all to shame.
