I've been looking for a new avatar as of late as well. Found an awesome title, but still.

I had one thing decided upon, but no matter what I did it either looked like crap or was unrecognizable, so I'm waiting for something else to come along.

I have no suggestions ... as you can see, my kids are the primary focus of my avatar and I see no real reason to change it.

Though it threw me off seeing Feba's new one in every other post, as it usually does when someone changes, it will take some getting used to.

Yeah, that's what I hate most about changing my avatar; I hate when other people do it.

But, that avatar was so topical that it aged very quick. I needed to find something to replace it with.

Nothing like having over $2k in your bank account but still getting to go through the embarrassment of getting your card declined when you pay for lunch because your bank decided to randomly deactivate your check card.

I made one purchase outside of my daily lunch/twice a week gas and they freaked out and cut my card, and of course they can't reactivate it, they have to mail me a brand new card, so I get to change my CC info on all kinds of shit after waiting a week+ w/ no card, and now I look like a broke ass at a place I eat lunch at 1-2 times a week. Something along the lines of maybe calling me and saying 'Hey, this large purchase was made, was it you or has your card been comprimised?' was also obviously far out of the question.

At least the manager at Potbelly was nice enough to let me take the sandwiches and pay for them next time I'm in there.

I don't do public gyms anymore. Working out in close proximity to strangers always weirded me out, even more so now that I've gotten very out of shape and would struggle to bench press my own weight.

I've gotten to the point in my exercise where I can no longer just get by with jogging and pushups/situps. I need actual free weights and/or machines. Which I don't want to buy (and couldn't fit in my apartment anyway). Plus, my apartment doesn't have a steam room or swimming pool.

We have a passable fitness center at my apartment, a decent amount of machines and freeweights, and it's open til 10pm which is nice. I just need to play FFXI less at some point and start using it again, lol. They also have raquetball(sp?) courts, which I've used for dodgeball, it was pretty fun.

I wish I had something like that. I just live in the first floor of an older building on the edge of downtown. It's privately owned, and thus does not provide any of the amenities of a complex.

My best friend who lives a few blocks away has a small fitness center in his building, but it's a bitch to use, because he won't give me an access card (he likes to have a spare for when he goes out to the bar, so he doesn't have to take his regular one out of his wallet). So I either go when he's going, which isn't often, or I pay for my own gym, which I'm doing.

Caffeine is an evil mistress. My latest failed attempt to majorly cut down on it lasted about 4 days, up until about 15 minutes ago, when I woke up at my desk out of nowhere, and promptly went to go get some coffee. Glad the floor is pretty empty and my boss is stuck in meetings all day, I had to have been out for at least a few minutes.
