Works in IE, but you might want to throw in another table or graphic between the first and second box so you can't see the background image between them.

I was going to try getting rid of the borders on the banner/main content boxes and make a stylized frame around the background image, so that it appears as all one main content box with the same background image...the challenge now is creating the frame, lol. That, and getting LS leader to tweak how the navbar options work so that they don't bork my frame.

One of the classiest borders, in my opinion, is the simple dashed line.

Page looks good, kinda agreeing with Murphie about the blurry background making it a little hard to read though.

Today is a bad day. Exam in about 18 hours, not revised as much as I wanted to, I own a worrying amount of flash cards and I've splattered my textbook with blood. I really hope the stains are less noticeable in the morning ><

I can see what you mean about the blurred images, I want them in the background, but not standing out enough to mess with the text. I'm thinking maybe if I played with their opacity instead of blurring them and putting a filter over?

Of course, FFTA was my first Final Fantasy game in clear memory, so I might be biased . . . yes, I know I entered the series late on what was considered to be a mediocre entry. ._.

Works fine on opera for Mac, though the orange writing on the grey picture background is difficult to read.

Making the pictures opaic (spelling?) may work, but you need to experiment with the text to get the best text colour to be clear to read and not eye straining. If you are going to put text over pictures then you really need to tone down the pictures and force the text on the visitor.

I am going to disagree with that, it has some definite potential. Of course there are always things that can be changed and/or improved, but he was not asking for your opinion of what the page looked like.

I'm aware of that lol, I said that a few times already. This isn't how we intend it to look finished, we haven't even told most of the LS that this site exists yet. My first concern is learning how all this stuff works even, of the 3 people designing this site I believe I currently know what I'm doing the most, and I just learned what a CSS was 2 weeks ago. If you want to help me make it better you're more than welcome to.

At any rate, if you guys could have a look again, MogHouse Linkshell: News, I need feedback on the following things, 1) is it easier to read text against the background now, and 2) does it take forever for the background image to load, the file is relatively large I think.

Now I get to dig around and figure out which parts of the CSS are which font colors.
